Although I didn't book a room on the Huazhu Club App, the front desk staff still upgraded my room and gave me a small gift when I checked out. It was very considerate. The room is very large and spacious, and the room design makes you feel safe. There is a cloakroom and bathroom between the bed and the door. It is very friendly to business travelers. I was worried that the city center would be noisy to sleep, but the sound insulation was superb. I closed the doors and windows. The traffic outside was directly isolated. I slept at night. I was shocked at the first time I entered the room, it was too clean! The floor was bare, there was no dust at all, the bed was flat, the quilt was soft, and there was a faint fragrance. The separation of dry and wet in the bathroom is particularly in place. The sink, toilet and shower area are all bright. The toiletries are all serious brands, so you can rest assured. There are a lot of things in the room, WiFi is fast to fly, air conditioning cooling and heating are strong, and free mineral water is also on the bedside table. This detail is really too poke. The most want to praise the service here, really too intimate! Just arrived in the lobby, the front desk lady smiled and greeted me, and the check-in procedure was very quick. The front desk service manager service is very good, the attitude of the young lady is also very good, knowing that I am for the exam, specially arranged for me to be soundproofed far from the noisy place. But that day on Wukang Road, as my older son held his brother's hand and the sycamore leaves filtered the sunlight onto them, I suddenly felt that the wind had a shape—it was the hem of my older son's shirt as he ran, and the crooked smile on my younger son's face. The Balabala Toy House is tucked away in the former site of the century-old Italian Consulate. The historic building has been given a fresh, down-jacket-inspired makeover and serves as the starting point for the "Friends of the Wind" journey. The outdoor area features interactive experiences like a down-jacket-themed "itasha" car, a screening room, IP meet-and-greets, a ball pit, a JUSTFOTO photo booth, and a cute craft workshop. Inside, there's a Hot Wheels racing experience, dedicated IP photo spots, and a Balabala toy store. My younger son was so focused in the racing area that I couldn't even get his attention, while my older son was busy making fridge magnets at the craft workshop. Standing there, I actually felt a rare moment of peace. On-site, my older son wore the pixel-style adventurer down jacket—windproof and water-repellent, with 80% down content, 360-degree anti-leak protection, and larger down clusters. With its hood and stand collar, he put it on and said, "Mom, I look like a race car driver!" My younger son wore a dinosaur jacket with a glossy, oil-like finish. It’s filled with 90% down for fluffy warmth and features dinosaur spikes on the hood. He kept roaring at the mirror. After leaving the toy house, we found the entire street transformed into a Balabala IP-themed "itasha" street, taking over popular landmarks. We visited the Wukang Building theme post office, passed by the Time Crystal shop, and grabbed coffee at Laomai Cafe☕️! There was also the Second Food Store, Wudi, Coffee Guangjing, Wukang Court... we walked and explored all day, and surprisingly, the kids didn't complain about being tired once. The event runs from October 1–October 30. I heard there are surprise events from time to time, too. On the way home, my older son fell asleep clutching his Hot Wheels car, with his brother leaning on his shoulder. I thought to myself, perhaps "passion" is just the light in my older son's eyes and the smile on my younger son's face. It's best to do some research beforehand, or hire a guide on-site; it will definitely be worth the trip. Security is as tight as the escape routes on a city wall; rules are as strict as the well water used by the women; the guards are as mysterious as the cabinets where bodyguards hide; and the escape routes are as ingenious as the design of hidden doors and drawbridges. While not as grand as the Wang Family Compound, nor as famous as the Qiao Family Compound, the Wei Family Manor is a system in itself, full of mysteries and intricate calculations—it's truly fascinating.
