Datong Chunyang Palace Scenic Spot is located on the West Street of Datong Drum Tower. It is named after the worship of Chunyang Lu Zu. It was founded in the late Jin Dynasty and the early Yuan Dynasty and was rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty in the fourth year of Hongwu. It is the only existing Taoist Quanzhen temple in our city. The northern Shanxi area has a great influence and is a municipal key cultural relics protection unit. Chunyang Palace sits north to south and is built in full accordance with the rituals of the Quanzhen Sect. The layout is a three-entry courtyard. The main buildings are the Shanmen, Lingguan Hall, Zushi Hall, Xian Hall and Sanqing Hall, with Bell and Drum Towers on both sides. , Sanguan Hall, Grandma Temple, Side Hall and East and West ear towers, there are exquisite statues and murals. The West Cross Courtyard of the main courtyard is a garden-style building. The entire Taoist temple is both solemn and magnificent, as well as the beauty and delicacy of the garden. Chunyang Palace has three major halls along the central axis, the bell, the drum tower and the east and west side halls on the left and right. The scenery here is ever-changing, with green in spring, flowers in summer, fruit in autumn, and green in winter. Especially on midsummer night, sitting in the listening rain pavilion with hexagonal spires, or watching the scenery, playing chess, or playing the piano, is like being in a paradise, making people linger. The whole building has a novel design, an ingenious and compact layout, scattered pavilions and pavilions, long corridors, water pavilions and winding paths, quiet and elegant. It is a three-entry courtyard integrating solemn temples and exquisite gardens.
