Photos of Wudang Mountain Gate

Wudang Mountain is a sacred site in Chinese Taoist culture, with a unique natural landscape and rich cultural landscape as well. Built in 1988, Wudang Mountain Gate is a replica antique monument structure with six columns and five holes. The structure itself is magnificent and truly extraordinary. The base of the octagonal column for the entire gate is embedded with drums in the front and back and a plaque reading "Wudang Mountain" in large characters. Throughout the structure, the railing slabs and eaves are inscribed with cirrus cloud patterns. Many tourists come to pose for photographs in front of this iconic structure.
