Cologne Cathedral Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Go to Germany and visit the top 5 places worth visiting.
1.) Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Picture 123
With centuries of history, Cologne is one of the best cities in Germany to explore. Located on the western edge of the country, this city blends everything together and is perfect for a weekend getaway. For me, the most impressive landmark must be Cologne Cathedral. Located on the banks of the Rhine River, it overlooks Cologne and is well worth a visit. Not only that, but there is also a lot of history within its walls. The Gothic architecture of the cathedral is the most ambitious building project since the Middle Ages.
2.) Rottenburg, Plot 456
One of the most vibrant and colorful places in Germany is Rothenburg. Well, at least in my opinion!
Rothenburg is located on the edge of the state of Bavaria in northern Germany, and is one of the best tourist destinations in Germany. For many years, it has been included in the route of the Romantic Road.
3.) Burger Figure 7
One of the treasures of the Elbe River is the city of Hamburg. Trust me, Hamburg has too many epic sights!
Although it may not have the "advantages" of Berlin, as one of the best destinations for city travel in Germany, it has a strong influence.
4.) Dresden Figure 8
Dresden is located in the Saxony region of Germany and is a city about the size of Edinburgh in the UK. This makes it big enough to be vibrant and full of things to do, but also small enough to explore over a long weekend.
Dresden was once known as the "Jewel Box", housing several luxurious buildings and artworks.
5.) Munich Figure 9
Munich is known as the capital of Bavaria and is undoubtedly a very beautiful city, as well as one of the most worthwhile places to visit in Germany. Not only that, Munich can be the gateway to the wider Bavarian region, and can also easily become the starting or ending point of your travels.

Cologne Cathedral is also known as Cathedral Church of Saint Peter. It is a Catholic Church in Cologne Germany. It is renowned monument of German Catholicism and Gothic architecture and declared as World Heritage Site.
We were there the last December. Winter time, therefore when we reach there, the sky is still dark. We look at the church from dark to bright sky, it’s really stunning!
Morning time before 10am, the crowd is not there yet. We are able to go into the church after the morning mass. The interior of the church is really nice!
Worth to go and high recommended!
Memorable: Exploring Cologne
During my recent trip to Cologne, I stayed at a cheap hostel located in the city center, which made it easy to walk to many of the major attractions. The hostel was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and a great social atmosphere.
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Cologne Cathedral, a stunningly beautiful and historic church that dominates the city skyline. The cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most visited landmarks in Germany. The interior of the cathedral is equally impressive, with soaring columns, intricate stained glass windows, and a wealth of historical artifacts on display.
Another highlight of my trip was walking across the Hohenzollern Bridge, which offers great views of the city and the river Rhine. The bridge is also a popular spot for love locks, with couples from all over the world attaching locks to the railings as a symbol of their love.
Another interesting place to visit in Cologne is the City Gate, a historic monument that dates back to the 18th century. The gate is a popular tourist attraction and offers great views of the city from its vantage point on the riverbank.
Overall, I had a great time in Cologne and would highly recommend it as a destination for travelers looking to experience the culture and history of Germany on a budget. The city has a wide range of affordable accommodation options, as well as a wealth of things to see and do, including the stunning Cathedral, the Hohenzollern Bridge, and the City Gate.#mytripvlog

Cologne Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Cologne is best known for diving. The artillery fire of World War II left dozens of shipwrecks here. Shipwreck hunting is a unique feature here. But if you want to dive, you can touch the shipwreck. Generally snorkeling can only be seen. Followed by the beauty of the mirror lake. There are many places in Palawan. The bay surrounded by karst terrain forms a lake like a lake. The boats can't pass. They can only go in from the side of the island, or swim in the gaps in the island. The place is called the lagoon. There are many routes in Cologne Island, and we are taking the nearest blue and green.
I was leaving Cologne that night. I was still unwilling to take photos of the best location of Cologne Cathedral on the other side of the Hohenzollern Bridge. Even the deceased husband and the half-resident husband along the river. Taking a photo or hh/ squatting early, we took a closer look at the lock on the Hohenzollern Bridge and wanted to see when it was first hanged. Many locks have rusted and there have been years of sedimentation. Some locks are just like the new ones that have just been hung up. Each lock has an affection. No matter love, affection, friendship, it is worth cherishing
there is a ladder under the bridge for the tourists to sit on the floor, drink beer, talk Chatting, slowly watching the sunset, there are some dark clouds, but at some point, the sun shines out of the bridge hole, very lucky, I recorded it and took the video.
Time has passed 9 o'clock, it is impossible to wait for the dark, our ship will leave here at 10 o'clock, it is not bad to photograph Cologne under the afterglow of the sunset, very beautiful, I am very satisfied
The boat started to drive, and came to the deck to photograph the Cologne church under the night.
Cologne is a city of heavy industry north of the Alps, known as the "Northern Rome". In the Roman era of 37 BC, the son-in-law of the Roman Emperor Augustus, Agrippi, built a city here. As a colonial city of Rome, the city name of Cologne evolved from Colonial. In 50 AD, Roman Emperor Claudia was born here and officially named it Cologne. Wake up from the gentle morning light of the Rhine, the Viking cruise ship has been opened to the opposite side of Cologne Cathedral, and you can see it in a blink of an eye, and you can't help but breathe. The
Hohenzollern Bridge, which is named after the German family Hohenzollern, crosses the Rhine and is an integral part of the Cologne Cathedral landscape. Here, 1,200 trains pass every day, making it the most bridged train in Europe. The four prestigious emperor sculptures of William I, William II, William III and William IV stood at the bridge and guarded the city.
Although Cologne Cathedral is the first classic here, for many lovers, the love bridge on the Rhine is obviously more attractive. It seems that hanging a lock with two names on the bridge locks the eternal love. Here, you can see hundreds of thousands of love locks, heart-shaped locks, and different locks. They are different in shape, different in size, and colorful in color, making them the best wall for taking pictures.
Love is romantic, "lock of love" is heavy. The German railway department is also worried about the crushing bridge, but no one can stop the love
Cologne is a very famous city in Germany, and it has been listed by many as a stop for Germany. At the same time, Cologne is also a famous city north of the Alps, and is known as the "Roman of the North". In the Roman era of 37 BC, the Roman Emperor Augustus's son-in-law, Agrippi, built a city here. It was a colonial city of Rome. Its city name evolved from Colonial, which became a military fortress of the Roman Empire. In 50 AD, the city was the birthplace of Roman Emperor Claudia and officially named Cologne. The
Hohenzollern Bridge is the second most popular attraction in Cologne after Cologne Cathedral. Built in 1907, the bridge spans the Rhine and is one of the most important hubs of the German and European railway networks. The romantic wave of the bridge in 2008 made the Hohenzollern Bridge slowly covered by love locks and became a unique landscape.
Old Market Square, the fountain in the middle of the square is the statue of the legendary Wilter from the poor farmer to the cavalry general during the German 30-year war (Jan von Werth), the relief below the statue depicts his legend The scene in the story.
Travel to Germany, Germany Sausage is definitely not to be missed. It is said that in Germany, there are sausage varieties that can be proud of everywhere, and the sausages in Gttingen and Regensburg have been famous since the Middle Ages.

Love Locks @ Hohenzollern Bridge
The Hohenzollern Bridge is a bridge crossing the river Rhine in the German city of Cologne (German: Köln). It crosses the Rhine at kilometre 688.5. Originally, the bridge was both a railway and road bridge. However, after its destruction in 1945 and its subsequent reconstruction, it was only accessible to rail and pedestrian traffic. Since 2008 padlocks have adorned a fence on the bridge, see all the locks symbolising undying love chained to the bridge. A must on your trip here. If you want to show your love buy a pad lock and lock it to one of the fences on the bridge.

Hohenzollernbrucke - Lock Your Love Here
#createwithtrip to the bridge of love, Hohenzollernbrucke, iconic pedestrian and rail over Rhine River with thousands of padlocks left behind by people from near and far to symbolize locking their love together.
Badly damaged in 1945, the bridge was reconstructed and now it’s the most heavily used railway bridge in Germany. This bridge is easily accessible from Cologne Cathedral, a huge landmark in Cologne.
Placing padlocks started in summer 2008, in the last estimate in 2015, there are 500,000 locks. One can spend many mins looking at the different locks, spotting interesting ones. I saw one dated from 1960, even a baby pacifier, messages in Mandarin.

1. Cologne Cathedral
The Cologne Cathedral is located in the center of Cologne, by the Rhine River, and is the iconic building of Cologne. With its 157-meter-high bell towers, it is the second tallest church in Germany and the third tallest in the world, as well as the third largest Gothic church in the world.
2. Hohenzollern Bridge
The Hohenzollern Bridge is one of the older bridges in Cologne, consisting of three railway bridges and pedestrian paths. The bridge, which connects the cathedral and spans the Rhine River, undoubtedly offers beautiful scenery.
The popularity of the Hohenzollern Bridge stems from the song 'Schenk mir dein Herz (Give Me Your Heart)' by the singer Hoehner. The story in the lyrics is set on this very bridge in Cologne and the love story associated with it. This song later became a household name in Germany and a staple on the carnival playlist.
3. Cologne Chocolate Museum
The Chocolate Museum is a must-see in Cologne, filled with the aroma of chocolate everywhere. Here you can see the entire process of how various chocolate beans are turned into chocolate. Each machine flows with real chocolate that is being processed, and it's truly a feast for the eyes.

Cologne believes that a lock is placed on the Hohenzollern Bridge and the key is thrown into the Rhine, and love can last forever. Some people have been hanging on the bridge since the summer of 2008. It is reported that there are now 160,000 locks sleeping here.
Here is the ocean of love, the love of people.

Lindt Chocolate Museum 🇩🇪
#2024wish
Just had the sweetest adventure at the Lindt Chocolate Museum in Cologne! 🍫🏭 The entrance fee of €12 felt like stepping into a chocolate lover's paradise, and trust me, it's a Willy Wonka dream come true.
The journey begins with the aroma of cocoa welcoming you at the door. The Chocolate Fountain, a Lindt trademark, is a mesmerizing centerpiece. Watching molten chocolate cascading down is hypnotic, and yes, they let you dip a wafer in it! 🤤🍓
The interactive exhibits take you on a fascinating journey through the chocolate-making process. From cocoa bean to the final Lindt masterpiece, you get a behind-the-scenes look at the chocolate magic. The chocolate molding station was a highlight – creating your own chocolate bar felt like being a kid in a candy store, literally! 🍬🍫
Don't miss the Chocolate Cinema – a sensory experience that immerses you in the world of Lindt. The 4D effects and the mouth-watering visuals make it an indulgent treat for the senses. 🎥🍭
The best part? The Chocolate Museum isn't just about looking and learning; there's ample tasting involved! The Lindt Master Chocolatiers offer live demonstrations, and sampling freshly made Lindt chocolates is an experience to savor. 🍩👩🍳
After your chocolate-filled escapade, take a leisurely stroll along the Rhine River just outside. The scenic views and the fresh air provide the perfect contrast to your cocoa-induced high. 🌊🚶♂️
If you're still craving more chocolate goodness, explore the nearby chocolate shops on Cologne's historic streets. You'll find artisanal creations and delicious treats to take home as sweet souvenirs. 🍬 #LindtChocolateHeaven #SweetEscape #ChocolateDreams #TravelIndulgence
