The monument to the Jewish Quarter (Jewish Ghetto Memorial) was built in 1948. In the autumn of 1940, Hitler fascists established a Jewish separation zone in Warsaw, forcibly relocating Jews to the area, with the largest number of people reaching 450,000. On April 19, 1943, the unbearable Jews in the area revolted, were suppressed, and a large number of Jews were killed, and the Jewish separation area was then razed to the ground by the Nazi army.
The monument commemorates the Jewish resistance movement in Warsaw before the end of World War II in 1943, when a protest movement was brutally suppressed and the separation zone was razed to the ground.
The Jewish Heroes Monument, located next to the Polish National Museum in downtown Warsaw, is the most important World War II memorial site in Poland. The monument commemorates the Jews who were killed by the Nazis in World War II. The German Chancellor's Kneel of the Century is here. The monument is manned by soldiers all year round. A sacred place.
The whole atmosphere of the monument itself and the square where the monument is located is very solemn, the monument is built with black granite, and there are reliefs showing Jews on both sides, and there will be people who will mourn.
