Peaceful location ...
The noteworthy aspect of this temple are the two 100 year old Banyan trees growing near it -- one right next to it, the other across the street, including an old pump that still pumps clean water. (Ha...
The environment is quiet, there are rare historical traces of ancient temples in the city, there is no modern hustle and bustle, and you can feel the ancestral ruins of Qingshui's ancestors!

I stopped by when I traveled to Tainan in November 2017. It is very close to the National Taiwan Literature Museum in the city of Tainan. It's in an alley that's a little bit inside, so I went to rely on Google Maps. It is a bright decoration based on vermilion, and unlike the sober temples in Japan, it is a glittering temple that is typical of Taiwan.
It is one of the five ancient temples in Tainan and is a venerable temple. It's completely different from Kiyomizu-dera in Kyoto, but you can enjoy the old days of Tainan.

This area has changed a lot due to urban planning during the Japanese era. Originally, a stream was flowing, and the river was flooded by the heavy rain of 1770 year, and at that time, the residents found a statue of Kannon from driftwood and dedicated it. It was said that it was called Mizuryu Kannon at that time, but now the river seems to be a drain and flowing through the ground. The alley where this temple is located can feel the old atmosphere of Tainan. The old Tainan town ... while watching the famous store of the cherry tree and the meat wrapped buns and peaches (the record of the cherry tree).

It's inside Tainan City.
There is such a temple inside Tainan City. It was made completely different from Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto. The building remained.
