I found it when I walked on Nakasendo from Shimosuwa Station. It enshrines Sozo Soraku, the captain of the Meiji Restoration Red Restoration. It's not big, but there was a commentary and I was able to know one of the successive generations 〇
5 minutes walk from JR Shimosuwa station. It is a little off National Highway 142. The place where Sozo Soraku, a Sonno joi school priest and captain of the Red Hotai, was beheaded for false charges. In 1870, a mound was erected by former comrades and his hair was stored. After that, honor was restored, and it is said that it was enshrined at Yasukuni Shrine in 1929.
