No.1300-1326 Huaihai Middle Road Never Ending Classic and Modern 1934 Modern style apartment This apartment was originally named Enpaiya Building and also known as Royal Apartment. It was built in 1934 by Zhejiang Industrial Bank, designed by Kaitai Architects Huang Yuanji, and built by Zhang Yuji Construction Factory. Reinforced concrete structure, six floors in the middle, four wings, flat layout along the road corner, corner facade for symmetrical central axis, ornamented vertical lines; two sides with continuous glass windows and window walls constitute horizontal lines, shape from the center to both sides fell. Cement pull-hair exterior wall, flat top, bottom for shops. In the 1980s, the apartment was rebuilt, and the middle and two wings reached seven and five floors respectively after heightening, and the shape still basically maintained the original style. Famous painter Han Min and famous film director Tang Xiaodan lived here. The building is still mainly residential above three floors, and the bottom floor is still commercial.
