JR It's about a 5-minute walk from Sakata Station, and although it's a downtown area or a residential area, it's a little quiet, you can visit a company quietly in the city. Also known as' cucumber Tenno San '

    Original Text

According to the shrine legend, it was founded by soliciting the spirit of the Kyoto Yasaka Shrine in 1565. The deity is Suzunari Naruson (Gozu Tenno). If you walk straight from Sakata Station on the main street in front of the station, you will see it on your right. It is said that if you offer cucumbers at the festival and eat them, you can spend a year without illness. Therefore, it is also called "Cucumber Tennozan".

The main deities are Susanoo, Kiinadahime, and Inakura Tamashi. The current shrine was built in 1930. It is said that the name of the shrine is derived from the song "Yakumo Rising Izumo Yaegaki-" written by Susanoo-no-Mikoto exterminated Yamata no Orochi and welcomed Himehime Orochi in the hall of worship.
