Wuliang Hall

Linggu Temple Wuliang Temple is located in Linggu Park, Zhongshan Scenic Area, Zijin Mountain, Xuanwu District, Nanjing City. It is the oldest and largest brick arch structure temple in China. It was built in Hongwu 14 years in the Ming Dynasty. It was originally a Wuliang Temple dedicated to the Wuliang Temple of Wuliang Buddha. Because the whole building adopts brick arch coupon structure, no wooden beam, so it is called no beam hall.

Long ago, I knew that there was a famous beamless hall in Linggu Scenic Area. At that time, Linggu Scenic Area did not need tickets. In the summer, the beamless hall was very cool and often went here to enjoy the cool. Now the old place is revisited, full of nostalgia.

The no-beam hall was built in the Ming Dynasty. It was originally a no-weight hall, with masonry and arch structure, and there were no beams and pillars in the building. After the victory of the Northern Expedition, it was part of the Northern Expedition Memorial Complex. The names of some of the sacrificed soldiers were engraved inside. Now it belongs to the scope of Linggu Scenic Area and needs to buy tickets to enter.

It is in the Linggu Temple in the Nanjing Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Scenic Area, built in the Ming Dynasty in Hongwu for 14 years, because the whole building adopts brick arch coupon structure, no wooden beam, so it is also known as "no beam hall".

Located in the foothills of Zijin Mountain, the building is very distinctive, and the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum coexists harmoniously.
