Only open one day a week?
Went on a tour a while back and thoroughly enjoyed it. Went with visiting relatives and apparently they are only open one day a week. We were able to walk the grounds.
multiple house tour is worth a Saturday morning stop
I went for the Saturday historic house tour, but appreciate the community feel of the farmer's market - I would probably make this a semi-regular stop if I lived in the area / has a small town feel. ...
Check to see When It is Open
We stopped at the Chestnut Square Historic Village but found out that they were closed on Tuesday so we walked around the grounds. There were several buildings that could be toured when open.
Cool place, good history
The farmers market is a great event at this historic location. The building are unique and have good history.
