PADAR ISLAND - EAST NUSA TENGGARA
Padar Island which is the third largest in the Komodo National Park area can also be your tourist choice. The location of Padar Island is between Rinca Island and Komodo Island. So you can see the entire Komodo National Park. And this island is closer to Rinca Island than Komodo Island which is separated by the Leech Strait. Maybe the name Padar Island is less familiar to tourists because the name is less famous than Komodo Island and Rinca Island. However, the beauty of Padar Island is no less beautiful than the two islands. Padar Island or popularly called Gili Padar in Flores is like a photo studio set in beautiful natural scenery. How not, the beauty of Padar Island which is included in the Komodo National Park is indeed incredibly beautiful. Padar Island is also accepted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, because it is located within the Komodo National Park area. Even though it is located within the Komodo National Park area, Padar Island is not inhabited by Komodo dragons due to the broken food chain. Around this island, there are also three or four small islands that each have their own unique panorama. And on Padar Island there is also a stretch of pink beach which is very suitable for swimming, playing water or snorkeling. You can also climb the hill on Padar Island to enjoy the beautiful panorama from above. On this hill the beauty of Padar Island will be clearly visible. High hills, clear sea water, pink and white sand beaches, and air that is far from pollution as well as the surrounding islands will hypnotize visitors. Visitors will be treated to a panoramic view of the "three lakes" in the Flores Sea. The three large indentations on both sides of the cliff on Padar Island, both facing Komodo Island and Rinca Island, do look like three circular lake shores. Although trekking to the highest hill will feel very tiring, but you will be presented with a panoramic view of the hills and very beautiful scenery and capturing the moment will be an activity that never gets bored during the trekking trip. Usually tourists go up this hill in the morning to catch a surise and in the afternoon to see the sunset. Both sunrise and sunset, both are guaranteed to be beautiful and make you not want to move. In addition, you can see the sunrise and the moon at the same time. In addition to the panorama from the top of the hill, Padar Island offers an underwater panorama. There are at least three spots for diving in the waters of Padar Island. The waters are overgrown with many coral reefs with fish that live on coral reefs presenting a beautiful panorama of the sea. If you are lucky, at certain points you can find giant rays called manta rays as well as whales and dolphins.

padar island, another must-visit island in Indonesia. It is a very beautiful viewpoint. There are 6 levels in total to walk up to the highest viewpoint, you can see the sea of the 3 bays together. Very beautiful Worth the tiring 😍😍😍
Three bay sea viewpoint that must be visited once in a lifetime, very worthwhile, saying the word beautiful without stopping Ten mouths that it is not as good as the eyes can see.
I went to Padal Island, which I visited on a Komodo tour in Indonesia. Sneakers are essential because it is a trekking. Some people were climbing sandals, but I think it's tough. Blessed with the weather, it was the best view. If you are quite tired and are not confident in your physical strength, let's climb while taking a break.
It was an outstanding view I had never seen. However, you have to climb a steep mountain road for about 30 minutes to reach the superb view point. There are no trees around, so it will be a sweaty climb. Hydrohydration is indispensable. I think it's well worth going to see it even if you deduct it.
absolutely gorgeous. love the view there. suggest to reach early so you get the best picture
It was extremely hot even just 8am. Better you use sunblock. So many stairs for trekking. When you up there, you can see the whole island like on google. It was literally worth it
Padar Island is one of the best place that we have visited in Flores . We arrived there in the morning by boat. And our guide take us to climb this island. We saw best scenery from the top. Curvy island with nice seascape. Highly recommended to visit this island.
[Padar Island] The first stop of Komodo's trip, Padar Island, is one of the three islands in Komodo National Park (Komodo Island, Rinka Island, Padar Island). This independent island is the smallest and most exquisite of the three islands, and the best island to watch the sunset. The moment we landed, Padar took us warmly into our arms, generously showing us her beauty, unreserved. The possessiveness of my eyes made me turn back one step at a time, greedily bringing the sight into my eyes. The beauty of nature is dynamic, every step up, the visual angle even if it changes for a minute and a second, the beauty will be refreshed again, and every time you look back is a surprise. As an island, Padar Island is not alone. She is surrounded by four crescent bays and kissed, and the years are quiet. Padal's gentleness seemed to calm the sea, and like our inner worries, the rough Indian Ocean calmed down here. Tips: It is recommended to choose a sunny afternoon to visit the island, the best visual effect. It only takes an hour to climb the top of the mountain, and you can go to the island at about 3 o'clock. You can just enjoy the beautiful sunset. Playing method: You can participate in a day trip or boat lodging on Trip.com. More recommended boat lodging is the best way to travel in depth. In the boat lodging near Padar Island, after nightfall, there will be a fluorescent blue fantasy scene in the sea in "The Fantasy of the Teen Pie Drift". Note: UAV aerial photography can take pictures of the unparalleled spectacular panoramic view of Padar Island, but it needs to be declared in advance (we did not declare, so we did not get permission to use the drone) in Labuan Bajo has an office, specific matters can be consulted by the travel agency.
