It is a shrine located about １ km west of Horyuji Temple. Former 々 is a very historic temple where Prince Shotoku, who was looking for the site of Horyuji Temple, met the incarnation of Tatsuta Myojin, built Horyuji Temple, solicited it from Tatsuta Taisha Shrine, and founded Tatsuta Shrine as a Chinju Sha shrine. Su. In the precincts, there is a monument called the birthplace of the Kongo style of Nohgaku.

　It is a shrine in the town of Ikaruga, a little away from Horyuji Temple. It tends to be confused with Tatsuta Taisha, but it is known as the god who guided the location of Horyuji Temple, and it may be rude to confused. When Prince Shotoku was looking for a place at Horyuji Temple, Tatsuta Ogami led him to this place. The envoy here may be a chicken because the mouth of the chozuba is shaped like a chicken. There is also a Nohgaku "Monument of the Origin of Kongo style" in the precincts. I was a little troubled with the parking lot, but there was a place to enter from the side, so I stopped in a corner of the precincts.

At first, I was confused with Tatsuta Taisha Shrine in the neighboring Misato Town, but this is a shrine in Ikaruga Town. ＪＲ I walked from Horyuji Station, so it took about ３０. There is a story that Prince Shotoku met Tatsuta Daimyojin at the time of selecting the place to build Horyuji Temple and was built as a guardian shrine of Horyuji Temple.
