A temple on Takage Island floating in Lake Biwa

    Original Text

It is a temple on Takeijima floating on Lake Biwa. I will use it because there is a ship from Hikone Port. The whole island looked like a temple, and the view from the island was exceptional.

I went by sightseeing boat from Hikone Port.

This "Mitoji Temple" is a temple located on Takeijima, a small island off the coast of about 5km in Hikone City, and has a small main hall. I crossed from Hikone Port by sightseeing boat, but I only have 30 minutes to land, but it was a small temple that I could see enough in 30 minutes.

It's usually a temple on an uninhabited island.

    Original Text

This is officially a temple of the Nichiren sect called Reimuyamamitoji Temple. Takeijima, an uninhabited island with a temple, is a sacred body for all the islands and is owned by this religious corporation. In other words, you cannot enter the territory of others without permission. A reasonable procedure is required. After getting off the pier, there is a hall such as the main hall in the place where you climb the super steep and super narrow stone steps on the one side of the climb. In the first year of the Ming Dynasty, the person who sank in Lake Biwa in 1655 and the Jiunin Nikko shonin in Hikone city went to here for the memorial service of seafood ...
