"The arrogance of Yelang" is a well-known story, appearing in the Yelang ancient country more than two thousand years ago during the Qin and Han dynasties, alongside the ancient Loulan and ancient Qiuci countries, flourishing for a time and renowned throughout the world. Crossing through the mysterious tunnels of history, the charm of Yelang culture is endless. In a Yelang valley in Guizhou, modern imagination of ancient Yelang is fully integrated. Using the phrase "unknown to the world" to describe Nightingale Valley is very appropriate. Before entering the scenic area, a forest blocks out the noise from the city. Looking around, all you see are trees, but once you pass through the Masson pine forest, you discover a hidden paradise. The canyon is long and deep, like a giant tear in the earth. Walking along the valley floor, you'll come across small bridges and flowing water, making for a pleasant journey. Looking up from below, the white clouds are far away, and the towering cliffs are breathtaking! Here is the Nightman under the command of Song Peilun, an artist who has returned from traveling in America. When living in the United States, Song Peilun created "Nightman Castle, Nightman Totem, Nightman Masks", and in China, he also created large-scale Nightman national works such as "Devil City, Nightman Valley", as well as many artworks related to Nightman culture. Nightman Valley is Song Peilun's masterpiece among the green mountains and clear waters.

In fact, before this trip, the reason why I chose Guiyang, apart from the cuisine, was that Yelang Valley really was a place I longed to visit, to experience the shock. It was stunning, so shocking! 🌟 Shocking Stepping into Yelang Valley, the first sight is shocking. Walking down the stone steps into the valley, surrounded by mountains, stand the astonishing stone statues. Walking among them, every direction offers a finely carved, shocking scene, and the area is vast, visually magnificent, breathtaking. 🌟 Bizarre The stone statues have a bizarre tribal texture, as if they have been gone for many years. The bizarre totem-like images have an indescribable sense of wonder. Regarding these bizarre stone statues, I can't say what they mean, I only know that their strangeness is fascinating. 🌟 Mysterious This place seems like an ancient, lost mysterious tribe. A winding river stretches across the mysterious valley, as if it's a long-standing relic of civilization. Standing in this valley, looking up, it feels like being transported to a place never reached before. 🌟 Artistic Rugged paths, city walls, castles, stone bridges, this is a natural open-air art gallery, where each stone sculpture is exquisitely detailed and unique. The so-called 'Yelang Valley' is the Yelang imagined by artists, a creation of twenty years, presented before the world. 🗿 This is undoubtedly one of the most impressive attractions I have visited recently. Laughter, anger, eeriness, horror, all kinds of stone statues converge in this mysterious world, making it a great photo spot. The ticket is also cheap, worth a visit, and makes the trip worthwhile.

The mysterious tribe in the mountains, Huaxi Yelang Valley Yelang was the first state established by the ancestors of ethnic minorities in the southwest region of China, which is very famous in Guizhou and later became part of the Han Dynasty. The idiom 'Yelang thinks too highly of itself' originates from here. Song Peilun: An artist who returned from America, Song Peilun's Yelang Valley, a utopia for one person. Huaxi Yelang Valley is a stone kingdom painstakingly created by the famous Guizhou artist Mr. Song Peilun, who spent his life savings and 20 years to build it by hand. Based on Guizhou's typical karst topography, combined with the architectural culture of the ancient Yelang state and the local Nuo opera culture, it is a castle complex filled with the mystery of primitive exotic cultures. Huaxi Yelang Valley was the most impressive sight on my trip to Guizhou. Hundreds of stone pillar statues, each built from blocks of stone with different expressions - laughing, angry, eerie, terrified... Some of the stone carvings are also covered with weeds and moss, standing silently there, quietly guarding this paradise. In addition to stone sculptures and stone art, the park also features pottery works and cultural and creative products, all of which are very impressive. After visiting several shops in the city of Guiyang, I could not find such locally characteristic cultural and creative products anymore!!

Yelang Valley was a very unique and fun trip! It’s a 15 minute drive from Qingyan Ancient Town and about a 45 minute drive from Guiyang. I travelled by taxi which was both easy and cost effective. Admission price was 40rmb and I spent around an hour at the site. A huge stone castle has been built with numerous stone heads dotted around and throughout the grounds. The heads were rather comical, and there seemed to be a stone faced figure to represent all the emotions you can think of. |Is Guiyang Huaxi Night Lang Valley really worth visiting? I found this place from the photos everyone shared online📷, and it truly seems like a photogenic spot. Hidden in the urban area, this mysterious ancient kingdom▶️ also piques my curiosity about what kind of sanctuary a senior artist has spent decades building. There are mixed reviews online about this place; some feel that the 20 yuan ticket price is not worth it, the site is too crowded to get good photos... and so on. If you're just going to take photos, this is a nice place👇 Pay attention to the following points to enhance your experience: ▶️Consider wearing exotic or brightly colored clothing. ▶️The scenic area is somewhat close to residential areas, so be mindful of your composition/it's best to bring a friend who is good at photography or plan your shots in advance to ensure quick and effective photography. ▶️Try to visit early in the morning or late in the evening when it's less crowded/most spots are designed with the 'big scene, small people' composition in mind, and it's indeed hard to take good photos when it's crowded/or you could use a large aperture for close-up shots. Overall, our personal impression was positive👀. The first view upon entering can be described as stunning🙋. It was an overcast day, and we entered the park in the evening📷. Even photos taken with a phone turned out great.

Huaxi Yelang Valley Scenic Area is located in Huaxi District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. It is a national 3A level tourist area, covering an area of about 200 hectares. Yelang Ancient Karst Ecological Park is an ecological park with karst landform as the main theme, and the whole ecological park is located in the canyon. Doupeng Mountain is said to have been the residence of the Yelang King's successor, Jinzhusi, and the ruins of the ancient Yelang Tunbao are still left at the foot of the mountain, hence the name of Yelang Valley. Historical documents such as the Historical Records record that Doupeng Mountain was the jurisdiction of the ancient Yelang State Road Mansion and the location of the Jinzhu Mansion of the descendants of the Night Wolf King. Doupeng Mountain not only has rich historical and cultural connotations of the ancient Yelang country, but also has unique natural scenery. Climbing to the top of the ancient city wall, overlooking the karst landform and stone buildings, feeling the magic of nature and the ingenious design of human beings, it is amazing.
