What Is a 16-25 Railcard?
The 16-25 Railcard (also known as the ‘Student Railcard’ or ‘Young Persons Railcard’) offers a 1/3 discount on most UK rail fares for those between the ages of 16-25 or mature students.
16-25 Railcards are only £30 for one-year, or £70 for three-years. There is no limit to the number of times you can use the Railcard, and, on average, 16-25 Railcard holders save £159 per year. *
Save money on travel for Anytime, Off-Peak, and Advance tickets, with a minimum fare of £12 for all journeys made between 4:30am and 10am, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays, and journeys made in July and August).

How To Get the 16-25 Railcard
All Railcards are also available to purchase through the Trip.com app. To purchase a Railcard, you will need: 1. Proof of age (UK driving licence/provisional licence, passport, or EEA national ID card) 2. A high-quality digital passport-style photo of yourself 3. Debit or credit card for payment
