    "There are not many places to play. It is quite interesting to take a boat here after dinner. There are still people on the shore performing Mei Lanfang's Peking Opera, but it is too far away. It is a vague feeling to see an artistic conception."

Here you can embark on a nighttime cruise on the Fengcheng River, relish views of nightfall lighting along the riverside, and experience the dreamy water scenery. On the way, the cruise will pull in to shore for visitors to enjoy folk shows, including a parade featuring mythological figures who represent Luck, Wealth, and Longevity, and appear in costumes passed down from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1912) Dynasties, and a performance of traditional Taizhou wedding ceremonies. By the boat, you can also savor songs from the southern drama classic "Peach Blossom Fan," and further appreciate the folk traditions of Taizhou and the cultural charms of central Jiangsu.
