The scenic area is named after the main peak, Tiantangzhai, which is also called Tiantang Summit. It is the second highest summit in the Dabie Mountains and serves as the divide between the Yangtze and Huai River watersheds. One reason to visit Tiantangzhai is to hike and breathe the fresh air. Another reason is to see the waterscapes and waterfalls. The water quality is pristine, and if you watch carefully, you may discover a rare giant salamander.Show Less
