Atlantis Sanya is located in Haitang Bay, Sanya. Inspired by the mystery of the lost continent of Atlantis, it integrates a water park, aquarium, marine animal interactions, and resident performances into one ocean-themed family-friendly destination, ideal for spending several days to fully experience. Atlantis water world is the highlight of the day: climb the towering Poseidon tower for thrilling plunges down slides like "leap of faith" and "drop slide," while the "shark encounter" slide winds through a shark pool tunnel with glass walls separating you from the sharks. The park also features a rushing rafting river and a children's water play area, ensuring fun for the whole family. The lost chambers aquarium centers around the ambassador lagoon. Standing in front of the giant transparent wall over 10 m high, visitors can watch tens of thousands of marine creatures swimming in schools, beluga whales leisurely waving their tails in the water. The mermaid show and fish feeding from the transparent-bottomed crystal boat are also quite popular. The adjacent dolphin island is an open-air habitat for dolphins and sea lions, where visitors can choose interactive programs by age to get close to these marine creatures. In the evening, the long-running C show performs at the dolphin bay theater, featuring aquatic stunts and lighting effects on a three-dimensional stage, which is the reason many families specifically stay for. The itinerary suggests enjoying the water park during the day and visiting the aquarium or watching performances in the evening for a more relaxed pace and to avoid the midday sun.China · Sanya

The gate tower and the city wall look quite impressive from the outside, but it's useless. You can finish the tour in a few minutes. There are mostly food and some goods inside. There is a theater at the innermost part, which should be used for opera performances at night. There is really nothing to see. If you live nearby, you can just walk around and kill time, but forget it if you make a special trip there.

It's a park-like place that's free to enter, but there's almost no facilities to visit, and there's nothing to do except eat. There's a hotel next to it, and it feels like the buildings inside are hotel rooms.

This is definitely a hidden gem of a scenic spot, perfect for taking your time to explore at a leisurely pace, even a full day. It's also great for families. You can buy an annual pass, and surprisingly, the price is the same as a single-entry pass. If the museum's design were a little more refined, the experience would be even better.

There are many different opinions about the origin of the word "Leizhou". However, it was first used as the place name during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty when Chen Wenyu, a Leizhou native, served as the governor of the local area (before the name was changed to Haikang County). Chen Wenyu, who was a wise official, sympathetic to the people, and admired by people of all ethnic groups in the area, was therefore revered as "Leizu" by later generations. The Leizu Temple built to commemorate this good official - and the "Leizhou Drum Change" that was often played here and was called the first of the "Four Wonders in the World" by Feng Menglong in the Ming Dynasty - have also become the most representative cultural symbols of "Leizhou Culture" and are a must-see when visiting Leizhou. Sanyuan Pagoda is located in Leizhou City. Sanyuan Pagoda was originally a stone pagoda of Kaiyuan Temple in the Tang Dynasty. It was named Wenbi Pagoda because it resembled a writing brush. The pagoda was destroyed in the Yuan Dynasty. It was rebuilt in the 43rd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. Three snake eggs were found when the ground was broken, which was considered to be a sign of "Sanyuan and his brother", so it was named "Sanyuan Qixiu Pagoda". Sanyuan Pagoda Park is free to visit and has free parking. There is a temple in the park to commemorate Chen Shu and Chen Changqi, two upright officials in the Qing Dynasty. Sanyuan Pagoda is now closed for safety reasons.

If you're not interested in water sports, I don't think it's worth going. The scenery is nice, but some areas are under renovation and not visible. We didn't participate in any water sports; we just wanted to enjoy the sea and swim. The beach here is relatively small. Showering costs 25 yuan and includes a towel, and the service was quite good. The water is very clear, probably much clearer than other beaches. Sun umbrellas cost 120 yuan per hour, which is quite expensive. There are also some other spots for taking photos. It's not very meaningful for people like us who don't like taking pictures. Couples might really enjoy it. I don't think it's suitable for families with young children. It mainly depends on individual needs.

Today's experience was great. Although the weather was quite hot, the activities were all very exciting, especially the "Take It All" activity. Lifeguard Jiang Zhaoyang was very helpful and even offered to get an ice pack when I got injured. Coach Chen, who was snorkeling in the shark pool, was particularly helpful and provided professional snorkeling instruction. Although I only played for two and a half hours, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely come back next time.

The Atlantis Aquarium in Sanya is absolutely stunning! The enormous Lost Chambers aquarium makes you feel like you're in an underwater world, with over 86,000 marine creatures swimming in 13,500 tons of natural seawater. The beluga whale interaction is incredibly therapeutic, the jellyfish area is dreamy and beautiful, and every shot in the underwater tunnel is a masterpiece. It's definitely worth the ticket price for a family trip; you can learn something new and experience the wonders of the ocean. Highly recommended!

This hotel is perfect for a chill vacation. The ocean view is unbeatable and definitely worth returning to. The service is excellent, and the hotel feels like a small estate with great privacy. This is why I chose it. If I had to suggest something, I'd appreciate the addition of a high-definition projector with a retractable motorized screen. Also, I'd like to upgrade the hairdryer to a Dyson. Otherwise, it's practically perfect.
