Amazing tour! Plovdiv and Koprivshtitsa are beautiful and fascinating places that are a must-visit if you’re in Bulgaria. What made this experience even better was how well organized the tour was. Our guide, Maria, was fantastic—one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. She is very knowledgeable, engaging, and clear, and she loves her culture and history so much that you can’t help but fall a little bit in love with Bulgaria yourself. Our driver, Stanislav, was also excellent.

Karolina was an excellent guide, her stories immersing us in Bulgarian culture and the long history of Sofia and Plovdiv. After a two-hour tour of the small city of Plovdiv, we were able to wander the streets independently and enjoy the beautiful sunny day. The bus journey was on time, as scheduled.

Such a nice trip! Definitely worth it to take a trip to the mountains and our driver was very kind! Make sure to bring cash for the lift (16 euro round trip) and 10 euro for renting snow boots. When there is snow on the mountain it is not doable in sneakers. Also, you can refill water bottles at the monastery for free 😊


