It was quite good. They introduced local history and things to note when appropriate, without disturbing our rest. They even took us to the cable car and boat stops, so we didn't have to find them ourselves. We were a bit time-consuming and didn't have enough time for meals. Joanna was very nice and quite cute. I hope we don't encounter any difficult guests.

Although the price has increased, it's a fantastic value, with a 7-day Shinkansen and express train ticket costing the full amount. Redemption is easy at Kansai Airport, with designated seats available at the green window. JR Passes allow you to use sleeping trains, but you'll need to pay for express trains and beds.

He showed us the main spots and shared interesting stories about their history. If you want a fun way to learn about the area, I highly recommend him for Mandarin and Japanese tours! This tour suits solo travelers or families looking to explore together.
