This is my first time using the Tokyo wide pass (3 days) as I am more used to using the National JR pass which I will buy for my japan trip. The redemption of the pass as done at Tokyo Station. The ticketing staff was polite and explain to me how to use the pass and the limitation of it. They also help me to book the seat for the shinkansen trip to karuizawa. This time round I use my pass to visit 2 places. Which was karuizawa and Hitachi Seaside park. Hitachi Seaside park was a long time wish to visit as I like to see the flower bed over there and experience the nice scenery which it provided. Karuizawa was fun too but would recommend a stay or 2 over there to fully experience it. Overall the pass is easy to use and I would recommend it if u intend to visit Tokyo or other places which the pass can cover.★

This was a wonderful tour program. The guide was so kind. We met the guide at the west gate of Matsumoto Station. First destination was the castle, which was wonderful from outside. The castle inside tour was difficult as the line was too long and the stairs of fourth floor were too steep and wide. After the trip to castle, we walked to some old town street for shopping and lunch. We purchased ice cream, pizza, and curry bread. After coming back to the bus, we had one hour and half ride to the Upper High Land. The view was gorgeous. As there were so many visitors, we enjoyed walking and viewing the snow covered mountains, and some monkeys. It is hard to describe how good the area is. See the photos attached. After two hour bus ride, we came back to the Matsumoto station. It was unforgettable tour and we would like to thank you the guide.★

Good if you will be staying the whole time to Karuizawa. Convenient but you constantly need data for it to work!
