Took me a while to locate the collection stall. Other then that everything ia great as the round trip ticket work well as you have to go to correct platform for express train. The stall do not offer top up services, however it is easy for you to just top up at the train station counter just behind the collection stall. The easy card as well work well without any issue. High recommended★

We booked the tour to depart from Kaohsiung - it’s a long drive to and from Alishan! I would recommend Taichung or Chiayi if you don’t like long car rides. Tour guide Stella was very funny and able to communicate well in English with our group of 8 (Vietnamese/Chinese/Australians). Stella was welcoming and controlled the speed of travel well. She was considerate of the girls who felt sick in the car and pointed out good photo spots for those who wants cute pics. I was more keen on the history and walking around Alishan, but this tour doesn’t give you a lot of time to enjoy the area, and also only covers a small area of Alishan. It’s like a taste-test! Alishan is worth coming back to in the future!★

Very friendly family run Homestay , close to walking street and the room is clean , walk thru alley and no cars pass by but accessible with motorcycle
