Reviews: Whale watching 2 hr cruise in Perth, Western Australia (departing from Fremantle)
Guest User2026-10-01
Highly recommended! The crew is very professional and seems to have equipment for whale watching. It takes about half an hour to get to the vicinity of the whale activity area, where they'll stop for photos and change pods. We were very lucky; sometimes there were humpback whales on both sides of the boat, and the whole deck was filled with photos. They provide digital photos for download, but even the ones taken with my phone are great! Having professional equipment would definitely be even better.

Fast and Friendly with added unplanned whale watching experience. Less queuing and just as fast as other lines. Very helpful booking agent who incorporated out tour into ferry price.

Reviews: Perth Rottnest Island ferry ticket [one-way/round-trip/multiple departures available + departing from Perth city/Fremantle + island air-conditioned bus/bicycle can be added on]

I went there from 10 am to 4 pm because I wanted to see quokkas. I was also able to rent a bicycle and go cycling, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Excellent! We saw a whale along the way. Also we need to return earlier and they were ok with us catching an earlier ferry. Really appreciate that.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The ferry ride to Rottnest Island was amazing — smooth, fast, and stress-free from start to finish. Boarding was easy, the journey was comfortable, and the crew was friendly and efficient. It made getting to the island part of the experience itself. Such a happy and enjoyable start to our Rottnest adventure. Highly recommended!
