Reviews: Chengdu Panda Breeding Base Ticket w/ Optional Transfer or Guide

In the morning, we visited the Panda Breeding Centre where we saw cute, lazy pandas big and small. We would have wanted to spend more time here to explore and find more furry friends but we knew we had other places to visit. In the afternoon, we visited the People's Park and saw what it was like to live in Chengdu. Lots of interesting stories and things can be seen. It felt like an immersion into the city. Our tour guide Andy even took us to an interesting commercial street and local market. Very very interesting.★

We had a fantastic experience with Perry. He gave us a brilliant explanation about the lives of pandas, patiently showing us around the entire place with lots of information. He also gave us a lesson about life in China. It was great. I highly recommend him.★

Reviews: All Inclusive Private Trip to Chengdu Giant Panda Base and Leshan Giant Buddha

We booked two private trips with Westchinago, both which were fantastic. Dujiangyan Panda Volunteering Experience (full day), and a Chengdu Giant Panda Base and Leshan Giant Buddha (full day). We were so lucky to have Lynn as our tour guide for both days. She was wonderful, giving us insights on what to expect for the tours, as well as the city of Chengdu. She was very helpful making suggestions for dinner and other sites we might want to visit during our stay in Chengdu. Prior to all this, as soon as we made the booking, Lily reached out. She explained what she deeded to book the tickets to the panda bases, and a little before the trip, reached out again to explain clearly what we should expect at the panda bases. Both days, we were picked up at our hotel on time. There were two of us, and we were in a comfortable vehicle with a driver, in addition to Lynn. On our way to Dujiangyan, Lynn found out it was my birthday, and she took it upon herself to surprise me with a birthday cake at one of the local tea houses! On top of that, she also informed my hotel! When I got back that evening, there was another birthday cake waiting for me in my room. Thank you so much! Both Lily and Lynn were fantastic in going above and beyond by doing this.
The next day, we visited the Giant Panda Base, and Leshan Giant Buddha. Once again, after being picked up at the hotel, Lynn ran through the itinerary for the day. She kindly volunteered to take many pictures of us at the panda base, and was flexible with our time there. We stopped for a delicious lunch before proceeding to the Leshan Giant Buddha. Lynn told us where we should be on the boat for the best view of the buddha, and it did not disappoint. It was a long day (about 10 hours), and totally worth it! This company genuinely cared about ensuring our experience would be memorable. We were so happy with the communication, execution of the itinerary, and our wonderful tour guide, Lynn. We highly recommend this company, and will work with them again on future trips to China. Thank you!★

The guide Wells had very good english, and he and the driver were very attentious. I didn't last any time buying tickets to boat and cable car. Mount Qingcheng is very interesting, the birth of Taoism. And the Dujiangyan irrigation system is impressive. Wells explained to me the clever system built some centurires ago and still working. The lunch was very good. I liked the trip but would not do it again because of the cost benefit, mainly because I was traveling solo.★

Had an amazing day with Jerry playing some Mahjong, eating some local food and learning more about Chengdu! Jerry is super sweet and knows everyone around the local markets. Highly recommend this tour, definitely a huge highlight of my trip in China!★

Reviews: All-Inclusive Private Day Tour of Mount Qingcheng and Dujiangyan

I had a private tour with my tour guide Amber. I was picked up right on time and she gave me a lot of back ground information on the hour drive to the Dujiangyan Irrigation System. Amber knew all about the engineering behind this 2000 year old marvel and really made me appreciate the brilliant design. We were then off to Mount Qingcheng for a two hour walk up stairs to Shangqing palace. Make sure you have comfortable shoes and are ready for a lot of stairs (my Apple watch recorded 42 flights worth!). Amanda even helped me find my Taoist protector. Great trip, highly recommend!
