The signal quality is worse than AIS in Hua Hin, for example, but the latter option is much more expensive and there are no monthly packages on trip.com. Internet tethering works, everything is fine.★

I used it in Singapore, Bali, and Kuala Lumpur (airport only). It was a very cheap plan at 190 yen for 500MB/day, totaling 3GB over 7 days. I used the Wi-Fi at airports and hotels, and mainly used it for Google Maps, booking Grab rides, and Google Translate while on the go. I was worried about whether the data allowance would be enough, but from the start of use until the expiration date, it picked up a signal and worked smoothly without any problems or slowdowns. I highly recommend it.★

Everything is great, very fast internet!!! The only difficulty is that you need to attach a copy of your passport and take a selfie on the operator's website (to activate the number), but overall everything is very good.
