If you only have a day to go to Machu Picchu this is a good option, just make sure you know all the logistics ahead of time cause you have a lot of transportation to take.
Reviews: Machu Picchu one-day tour from Cusco, Peru (minimum 1 person + admission ticket + train ticket guide included)

I decided to go to Machu Picchu two days before departure. Many people buy their own Machu Picchu tickets and PeruRail tickets, but my credit card security was too strong and I couldn't make the payment. I discovered that I could pay through TRIP.COM, so I applied. I applied because I heard that a tour would definitely arrange the tickets for me. Even though it was just before the trip, they kept in touch with me and I was able to sightsee without any problems.

We had the pleasure of having Leonel as our guide at Machu Picchu, and he truly made the experience unforgettable. From the very beginning, Leonel was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. He explained the history, architecture, and cultural significance of the site with so much passion and clarity that it brought the ruins to life. Leonel took the time to answer all our questions and even helped us find the best photo spots without rushing us. His deep respect for the Incan heritage and connection to the land was evident throughout the tour. We also appreciated how he made the visit engaging for both adults and children in our group. If you are planning a trip to Machu Picchu, I highly recommend requesting Leonel as your guide. His professionalism, friendliness, and insight will elevate your entire experience. Thank you, Leonel, for making our visit so special!
