Reviews: Machu Picchu Guided Tour: Official Tickets & Expert Guide
Guest User2026-01-28
Our guide Eduardo was amazing he knew everything about everything. Everything felt very organised with all the tickets sorted for us before the trip we basically just had to show up and learn. We communicated through WhatsApp so we could ask questions and confirm details easily. The route itself is gorgeous and some of the best views I’ve ever seen.

If you only have a day to go to Machu Picchu this is a good option, just make sure you know all the logistics ahead of time cause you have a lot of transportation to take.
Reviews: 1-Day Tour to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu from Cusco, Peru (Minimum 1 Person Booking + Includes Admission Ticket, Train Ticket + Guide)

I decided to go to Machu Picchu two days before departure. Many people buy their own Machu Picchu tickets and PeruRail tickets, but my credit card security was too strong and I couldn't make the payment. I discovered that I could pay through TRIP.COM, so I applied. I applied because I heard that a tour would definitely arrange the tickets for me. Even though it was just before the trip, they kept in touch with me and I was able to sightsee without any problems.
Reviews: Machu Picchu Day Trip from Cusco: Full-Day Guided Tour

Overall, the experience was amazing!Everything was well organized, and I felt like the organizers really took care of us during the trip. Our guide in Machu Picchu was great — very kind, friendly, and interesting. He explained everything well and made the visit much more enjoyable. I also got some really good photos, so I’m very happy with that! The only thing I would change is the timing of the tour. We arrived around 10 AM, but our entrance to Machu Picchu was only at 1 PM. So we had about 2–3 hours of free time just waiting and eating. Honestly, that part felt a bit inefficient. The tour started at 5 AM, and instead of waiting that long in a touristy place where food is quite expensive, it would make more sense to either reduce the waiting time or organize meals better or let us sleep longer lol Even including a simple meal in the tour would improve it a lot. There was also some waiting time after Machu Picchu before heading back, which made the day feel even longer:(
