Originally, we were supposed to join a small group tour, but it was changed to a large tour bus tour because the group didn't make it. Our tour guide, Ms. Liu, was very considerate. From before departure to the return trip, she explained a lot of information to us. She was dedicated and responsible, which deserves praise. Because some members of the group were late, even though the tour guide had explained in advance that the tour bus would only wait for an extra 5 minutes, she still waited for the late members. She was very responsible. Of course, she was at ease with the members who were not on time, but she didn't understand why the whole bus was waiting for the latecomers. That's why we never like to join large group tours.

This trip was exceptionally well-planned. The bus seating was arranged according to the order of the day's reports. The entire trip to Kamikochi took 3.5 hours. We took photos along the way and finally stopped at Kappa Bridge for an apple pie and a milk bread – the timing was perfect! Walking further down to Kappa Bridge might have been too late. I kept checking the weather forecast before setting off and changed the schedule at the last minute based on the weather, which proved to be a wise decision! If it had rained, it would have been cold, difficult to walk, and the scenery wouldn't have been as beautiful.

Kamikochi in autumn is definitely worth a visit. Signing up for a day tour is so convenient and saves a lot of effort compared to going on your own. The tour guide provides helpful tips and switches between Chinese, Japanese, and English. They are very polite and nice throughout the trip! The meeting point is at the Ginjō-dō (Golden Clock) at Nagoya Station (near the JR Shinkansen exit). I'll definitely book this tour again next time to see the snow.
