Product details

▲ ▼Hida Takayama (Includes free lunch time) Stroll through the old town Takayama, located in the heart of the Hida region in northern Gifu Prefecture, has preserved the complete form of castle towns and merchant towns since the Edo period, hence the name "Little Kyoto of Hida". You can stroll through the "three towns" built during the Meiji and Taisho periods, taste local delicacies such as Hida beef and Takayama ramen, and admire the handicrafts that embody the superb skills of Hida artisans. Hida Takayama is full of charm at every turn.

▲ ▼The Shiroyama Observatory is located in the northeast of Ogimachi Gassho Village in Shirakawa-go. From here, you can see the Gassho Village and the vast Hakusan Mountain.

▲ ▼Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri Village Shirakawa-go is surrounded by mountains and crisscrossed by rice paddies, with streams flowing through it, earning it the nickname "Kingdom of Forests and Streams." The village of Ogimachi in Shirakawa-go has the largest number of households among the three villages registered as World Heritage Sites (Shirakawa-go, Aikura in Gokayama, and Suganuma), with 152 households. The Ōshirakawa River, flowing from the sacred Hakusan Mountain, becomes snow-white and muddy after merging with the Sō River; this is the origin of the name Shirakawa-go.
