Flanking the entrance are beautifully crafted naga serpent sculptures, whose coiled bodies and gold accents create a solemn yet magnificent visual effect. Baan Dam Museum was designed and built by Thai visionary artist Thawan Duchanee over the course of 36 years. Baan Dam Museum houses a vast collection of exhibits related to death and hell, incorporating ancient animal bones, primitive hunting tools, antiques, and specimens into various artworks using modern artistic techniques. Baan Dam Museum stands in stark contrast to Wat Rong Khun - White Temple, showcasing the vast difference between heaven and hell, good and evil. The difference between the Baan Dam Museum and the palace-like style of Wat Rong Khun - White Temple is that the area around the Baan Dam Museum is scattered with over a dozen buildings of varying sizes, adorned with buffalo horns. Some of these buildings are even 3 or 4 stories high. Because all the buildings, exhibits, and artworks feature a black color scheme, it is also known as the Baan Dam Museum.Chiang Rai · 9.9km from downtown

In addition to the wide range of goods, there are local singing and dance performances for you to relax and enjoy. Of course, when visiting the Chiang Rai Night Bazaar, you must not miss the delicious fried food, barbecue, and various brands of beer. Temple of the Emerald Buddha, named after the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is a gorgeous and exquisite temple and one of the famous royal temples. Legend has it that in 1434, a lightning strike struck a stupa in the temple, which collapsed to reveal the Jade Buddha hidden inside. Later, the Emerald Buddha was transported to Bangkok and enshrined in the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok, which is also named Temple of the Emerald Buddha. There is a big Buddha carved from jade in the hall, which was raised by the believers later. It is 65 meters high. The body of the Buddha is translucent emerald green, surrounded by gold, and it looks brilliant and shining. PhraChaoLanThong The temple also houses a 700-year-old PhraChaoLanThong cast by Indian Bala art. It is 3.8 meters high and 2 meters wide. It was built by the Thai royal family to celebrate the birthday of the Queen Mother. It adopts the original Jade Buddha style. Out of this world. It seems straight out of the fantasy world- sparkling white and silver, beautiful temple shining in all its glory. One of the most popular attractions in this region, it is visited by people from near and far. Avoid afternoon as it can get very hot.

Wat Huai Plakang is located in Rim Kok Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province. It is a beautiful temple located on a hill and surrounded by hills. You can see beautiful scenery. The highlight of this temple is “Phop Chok Tham Chedi”, which is a 9-storey chedi with an unusual pointed shape. It is a mixture of Chinese and Lanna art. The red roof has dragon statues on both sides of the stairs. It is surrounded by small chedis representing the 12 zodiac signs. Wat Huai Plakang is a temple that the locals respect and believe that anyone who visits it will feel like they have ascended to heaven. Inside the chedi, there are Buddha images and various arhats. Inside the chedi, there is a large statue of Guan Yin carved from fragrant sandalwood.

I came at a time when the monks were doing their evening work, so I couldn't go into the church. But the temple is very beautiful, cool, and peaceful. Even the Emerald Buddha, when viewed from a distance, is very beautiful.
