A wonderful hike in a unique nature reserve, complete with a campfire, hot drinks, and grilled sausages. A truly lovely day out.
Reviews: Rovaniemi: Northern Lights Sledge Ride

A very well-organized excursion, only one point deducted because we unfortunately didn't see the Northern Lights. We were there with our 6-year-old daughter, and it was an exciting experience for everyone. Warm suits were available at the meeting point, and there were even children's helmets at the departure point. We had brought our own warm clothes and balaclavas. The sleds were large and shared, and we traveled with a group. The ride was bumpy but fun, and the guides did everything they could to find the Northern Lights. We stopped at a viewpoint for a break; there were huts, they lit a fire, there were hot drinks, and we roasted marshmallows. The nighttime ride through the snowy landscape was definitely worth the experience. The tour is recommended even without seeing the Northern Lights, which are only really visible at low temperatures.
