The train is cute, just like in the pictures. It departs on time, so you should arrive early. The seats are comfortable, the staff are lovely, and there are activities to do.

My brother and I booked this tour and felt like we had an amazing full experience of hualien’s surroundings. Not only was it luxurious and relaxing, our tour guide Mr Chen was also fantastic. Although it’s unfortunate Taroko was so badly affected by the earthquake last year, I still felt like we got to see as much as we could off the trails and had a great day!

Need to go to THSR website to book the slot, try to book later timing if u’re unsure of ur departure time, u can change to earlier train at the counter if u reach the place early.
