This tour offers unbeatable value for money! Given the high cost of public transportation in Japan, this day tour was a great option – a well-organized and efficient schedule. Highly recommended! The tour guide's explanations and service were excellent. The only slight difficulty was finding the bus in the morning; several people went to the wrong place, even though the directions were correct. Asking for directions on-site often resulted in getting the wrong directions! Crucially, this tour had no shopping stops – pure tourism, no hidden traps! I was so happy, no worries about getting ripped off! The timing for each activity was perfect, especially the glass-bottom boat ride at Niigata Beach – the value was unbeatable, and the wait time was extremely short. After reading many reviews about glass-bottom boat trips, I think my group tour experience was excellent! Let me briefly mention a few attractions. I'd seen Nenchikyo Park in other travel guides before, and it seemed quite far, only worth visiting at night to see the stars. However, this day trip, thanks to a well-planned itinerary, was a great experience. It's at the end of the land, offering panoramic views of the sea. Shinhara Beach is highly recommended; the main activity is the glass-bottom boat ride. The unique feature of these boats is that you can sit right after getting off, without any winding turns. Joining a tour saves a lot of time, and we were lucky enough to see sea turtles. The beach is nice, but tours are always a bit rushed, which is unavoidable. We had free time at Gyokusendo Cave. The kids were thrilled to see stalactites for the first time, and I enjoyed watching the Okinawan guesthouse performance. Then, we had a choice between outlet shopping and either a department store or a small aquarium. This offered a lot of flexibility and good timing. Our family doesn't like shopping, so we didn't go to the outlet. The department store was very interesting; it was bustling on weekends, offering a glimpse into how Japanese people live their daily lives. I suddenly noticed adults playing games that kids play, like drone races and four-wheel drive car races—so much fun! Finally, we went to Senaga Island to see the sea. You can choose to stay and watch the sunset, which is my favorite part. You can also see planes landing. All my little wishes came true. Here, I want to thank the guide and driver from Easy Go. I hope that friends who read my review will also come and experience it! A little tip: check out the shopping malls on the weekend—you might find some pleasant surprises!

The guide, Yuya san was very professional and helpful. For me who is a first timer as a diver, I learnt a lot from him on how to dive. I will definitely return again to your diving centre for another round :) thanks!

The snorkeling was perfect, and we had the best visibility right down to the seabed. The guides explained a lot about the marine life and pointed them out while swimming so everyone in the group could see something. We even saw a turtle! After snorkeling, we enjoyed a curry and then relaxed on the beach. The water was so clear, even at the shore, that you could see the coral reefs without diving. You could rent sun loungers, inflatable rings, or just a parasol (not mandatory). The beach was pleasantly uncrowded, and there was plenty of space between us and other beachgoers. The ferry rides and later the transfers with the driver to and from the ferry terminal went smoothly.
Reviews: From Naha: Tokashiki Island Day Trip by Boat
Guest User2026-03-26
Very good day out and fun experience. The island is beautiful with clear water, green all around and golden sand. We did the tour with snorkelling add on. First we got the ferry over in the morning, then got picked up and taken to Aharen beach, there we got changed and had 30 minutes free. Then we got taken to Tokashiki beach and snorkelled there for a while, not sure exactly how much time but it felt long enough. Then back to Aharen beach, had lunch and an hour free to explore. Without doing the snorkelling part you would’ve just been free to explore Aharen straight away after arriving. Lunch was good, the island is really nice to see and although you don’t have tonnes of time it’s still worth doing. Little bit expensive for what it is in my opinion but alas there is a bit of an island premium out here.
