Reviews: Koh Samui Angthong National Marine Park one-day tour [Snorkeling/Lunch/Transfer/Kayaking]

An excellent tour, highly recommended. It's a stunningly beautiful place. The tour consisted of several parts. First, you're picked up from your hotel (about 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time of 7:30 AM) and taken to the pier. There, you sign up, receive a colored bracelet and string, and pay 300 baht for entrance to the national park. Next, you board a speedboat for about an hour's ride, with a stop for snorkeling. Next, you climb to a viewpoint in the national park, where the staff take beautiful photos and videos. Then there's a lunch break for about 12 hours, kayaking, and a final stop on the beach for about 1.5 hours. You can spend some time on the beach, but I recommend climbing to the viewpoint, which offers a stunning view of all the islands. I think this is the best part of the tour. It's very convenient that the tour company staff wear different colored T-shirts, so it's easy to spot your own.
Reviews: From Koh Samui: Day Tour Ang Thong with Kayak, Snorkel & Lunch

Since I was already in Koh Samui, I decided to visit one of the islands and signed up for this tour. My expectations weren't high, but I enjoyed the trekking. The snorkeling in the bay at the end was surprisingly good, with schools of fish clearly visible. However, the current was strong, so I worried I might not make it back to the cave in time, so I snorkeled around the boat. The trekking section was quite steep and involved unsteady stone steps, so it's best to wear sneakers if possible. However, I didn't see any information about this, so I ended up wearing flip-flops. I bought water shoes on the boat, but they were too big and didn't fit. They were a bit cheap for 300 baht, so I ended up having to use them for disposables, which left me feeling like I wasted money. However, the Burmese guide was very entertaining, and overall, it was a very enjoyable tour.

Reviews: Day Trip to Koh Nangyuan & Koh Tao by Insea Speedboat from Koh Samui

The trip to Koh Tao and Koh Nangyuan was possibly the highlight of our stay. The snorkelling was amazing. We didn’t see the turtles unfortunately but the views were breathtaking. I personally felt Insea as a company was a bit harsh and nothing was explained at first. The lady on our boat was lovely. The speedboat was hugely uncomfortable for me…not brocade of the bouncing but the slant at which you’re sitting for 90mins…it’s not good for your back. The food was delicious!
