Just 45mins by car from Taipei city, Yehliu Geopark showcases the power of nature by formation of nature art piece. Erosion by the sea create unique shaped rocks. These honeycomb and mushroom rocks have nicknames according to their shapes, the most well-known ones are Queen’s Head and Dragon’s Head. There is a designated wooden pavement for walking inside the park, makes it very easy to explore. #urbanexplorer #nationalpark

Yehliu Geopark is a famous tourist attraction in Taiwan, characterized by a cape that stretches out into the sea. It is located on the Tatu Mountain, and if viewed from above, it resembles a giant turtle floating in the sea. In fact, this geopark was formed from the erosion of rocks, the movement of the Earth's crust, and changes in the weather, leading to significant geographical changes and becoming an important natural park in Taiwan.

Yehliu Geopark can be reached by bus from Taipei Main Station, with buses running every half hour. The park is home to many unusually shaped rocks and is located by the sea. The bus stop is quite far from the geopark, about a 15-minute walk. It is a famous tourist attraction in Taiwan, surrounded by many restaurants and cafes. The entrance fee is about 100 Thai Baht. The park is not very large.
