beautiful area in central London. always packed with tourists so it’s not the best place to relax. it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in town though.
Visited this attraction during winter so the weather was pretty cold. The church still looked absolutely elegant and regal, it had a very sombre and peaceful atmosphere. I enjoyed the peace and quiet there.
What an amazing attraction! This was one of few that we are willing to pay for the admission tickets for as the history and culture are too amazing to miss! Tickets came with an audio guide and it brings you to every historic position (tombs) with an in-depth video explanation. The building’s history is really something you cannot miss! Cater at least 1-2 hours to really feel the history that happened here on your trip to London!
Westminster abbey is the most popular in the country with unique architecture and features that facilitates the tourism.
Beautiful architecture and history. They provide an audio tour included in the ticket price but they also have the same tour in an app if you want to use your phone. (Free) We did not buy tickets online but the line went very quickly less than 5 minutes so don’t worry if you don’t get them in advance.
Westminster Abbey is a living working church that has been the coronation church since 1066. I went there with my family and we live in near Westminster church.
