Everything was very convenient and simple. After visiting Victoria Peak, we took the Peak Tram down the mountain and walked to Hong Kong Sheung Wan Pier. We used the app to purchase tickets for the overnight TurboJet ferry to Macau Pier, from where we walked to our hotel. We bought tickets for 11:00 PM but left early, at 9:30 PM. We didn't print anything; boarding was via QR code.★

What a great way to get around Macau! You can hop off at any off the stops you wish to explore and just get on at the designated time located on the map that you get with your ticket. Or you can just take the whole trip without getting off if you only want to see the popular sights of Macau. If you have a day or 2 in Macau, I would definitely recommend this activity to see all in a short amount of time.★

Board the ferry at Sheung Wan Ferry Pier. It's conveniently located just a short taxi ride from Harbour City through a tunnel. Use the QR code to exchange for your ticket, then go through customs and wait in the waiting hall to get your seat number. Ferries depart for Taipa every half hour.★

There's no need to buy in advance. But it's convenient for us to buy with a Mir card. Ferries leave half-empty even on peak days, so if you arrive early, you might be transferred to an earlier one.
