For the slow beer ethos alone it is worth the walk out to find this place. And it helps that the beer tastes good too. Keep it up!

From the moment you walk in you can feel this is a local pub, but unlike a lot of the local pubs in the the UK & Ireland you don't feel stared at and uncomfortable. Quite the opposite actually! The owner/ bartender could not have been more genuine, warm and friendly. We felt like we were being welcomed into the group. We came here specifically for the slow beer and it did not disappoint. It takes a while to pour and be ready so in the mean time we had provided to us a small shot glass of beer to keep us going :-) Very nice touch. We were then invited to go see round the back were there is an interesting mix of the owner's collected items in a Museum of sorts - fantastic! And as it was not so busy on the Sunday evening he proceeded to provide us with information about the more interesting pieces. We were also offered a shot of Fisk to have a toast with the owner and this again was very welcoming and warm! When the Slow Beer arrived some 5-10 minutes later it was definitely worth the wait! I have to say that I have never tasted Carlsberg quite like this. There is definitely a different taste and it is far far smoother. Traditional in this case is definitely better. Not too far of a walk from the Metro and easy to find. Highly highly recommend the place to anyone visiting! One word to those visiting - there is outside seating and if smoking or the smell of smoke bothers you then I suggest you sit outside... this is very definitely a smoking pub, which seems to be possible in Copenhagen as I have seen at least a couple of places including a nightclub with this concept.
