On the square at the entrance to the British Library in London, a striking statue of the man holding the compass is Newton, a famous British poet and painter, Blake, who once said that art is the tree of life. Science is the tree of death. In 1995, Scottish sculptor Eduardo Paulzi created the statue with funding from the Sports and Arts Fund.
