Malaysia National Hero Monument, high 15.54 meters, located in Kuala Lumpur Lakeside Park. The brass monument, designed by the first president of the UMNO BN, Donggu Abdul Rahman, invited the famous American sculptor (designer of the Iwo Jima monument on Iwo Jima, Washington, DC) to commemorate the heroes who died for the country during the chaotic period in 1966. The monument is engraved with the words "1914-1918, 1939-1945, 1948-1960" and the list of the dead. On the rectangular base, the monument has seven bronze statues, each representing one of the characteristics of leadership: courage, leadership, sacrifice, strength, hardship, solidarity and alertness. The top of the center is a portrait of a Malaysian flag waving in his hands. He has an armed soldier on the left and a machine gun on the left and a rifle and bayonets on the right. The lakeside park is not big, the scenery is good, you can see the Kuala Lumpur landmarks - the Kuala Lumpur Tower and the city's vision, and the blue pool, white corridor and golden Islamic dome are very characteristic. It is a good place to take pictures.
