Keahole Center for Sustainability Review

We visited the Kanaloa Octopus Farm at NELHA, and really enjoyed learning that work is being done to maintain populations of sea creatures, and to research how we can better live in harmony with the fascinating ocean environment.

The laboratory was founded in 1974 by the state government of Hawaii to study OTEC and related technologies. The Hawaii Natural Energy Laboratory has successfully generated current and will continue to study how to convert OTEC into economically efficient energy.

This mainly promotes the essence of sustainable development, showing us desalination and active use of green energy, and promoting the essence of sustainable development
