Excellent value BUT the beds need replacing - they are too ”bouncy”. It was lovely to arrive to a very warm room - heaters all on.
Otherwise we loved our stay and our meal in the bar.
This is a small place, don't make too many demands. The hotel is a super historic hotel, things are relatively old, don't mess it up. The proprietress is also very friendly and tells you all the information. Of course, wifi does not work well. . I am the spark phone booth outside. Of course, if you change your mindset, look at the scenery more and use less Wi-Fi. Make dinner by yourself and cook everything. Opposite is the lake with nice scenery, it's good to go for a walk.
Having a supermarket right across the street was super convenient for stocking up on supplies. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. It's very close to the coast, perfect for a leisurely walk. There are self-service laundry facilities available: detergent is 2 NZD, a washing machine cycle (50 minutes) is 4 NZD, and the dryer is also 4 NZD. It didn't seem heavily used and was spotless.
An absolute idyllic retreat, incredibly quiet and almost otherworldly. Absolutely fantastic. The surroundings are breathtaking; on a clear day, the sunsets are truly out of this world.
Good clean stay in Greymouth. Parking was a little difficult to find & the rooms were not air conditioned, but this wasn’t too much of an issue as when we went it was still cold. Staff were friendly & location was in central Greymouth.
A pleasant few days in calm surroundings. Great ocean and sunset views. Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and eager to satisfy any requests throughout our stay. Accommodation was immaculately clean and well presented.
It is a relatively large resort in Fox Glacier, close to the town center. There are accommodation facilities in the park and you can also camp. The children's playground is quite large and there are children's bicycles. There are public kitchens and toilets. The accommodation is very clean and the service staff is friendly and enthusiastic. The only drawback is that there are potholes on the road occasionally, which would be better if they can be repaired.
The hotel is located on the main street, with new facilities, large rooms, large bathrooms, and fully equipped kitchen supplies. The owner is warm and hospitable, and the cookies given upon check-in are delicious.

Our rooms have a breathtaking view of Franz Josef. The staff was friendly and helpful. The premise has no lift, but the staff was ready to assist with our luggage as we were on the second floor. Breakfast was excellent in a restaurant with a view. Highly recommended.
I got upgraded to another room so I was thankful for that !
The room smelled a bit (moldish) even though the guests already there had opened the window but by night, it got better.
Otherwise, the room was big and had a heater which was really convenient.
I was happy to see a sink in the room but it wasn't usable unfortunately. I thought it would have been nice!
The kitchen is well equipped, there are books available in the dining room!
Emplacement is very good, close to the train station and a few activities.

SSin NyongWe booked 2 king room ensuite however on arrival was assigned a king room without ensuite. Reception claimed system did not showed our booking with ensuite. Was re-assigned king room with ensuite after much deliberation. Bed was hard not comfortable. Common lounge was crowded.

PPCNGWhen booking the motel, it was stated that it was for 4 adults. When I checked in, I found that there was only one room and a bunk bed in the living room, which was not very comfortable. In addition, the toilet is in the room, and someone will be woken up when going to the toilet at night. It is not suitable for more than 2 people to stay.

QQiqidetaikongmanyouThe self-driving trip from Christchurch to Greymouth lasted until very late, and we went to Pancake Rock and West Piont, a nearby 1-hour drive. After checking out the accommodation, this one suited our requirements better, so we decided to drive a little longer. Hokkitika, it was already past 11 o'clock when we arrived at the hotel. I called the staff and told them to put the key directly in the room. This is a family suite with 2 rooms. Because I booked one bedroom and one living room, the other twin room was Not used.
There is a Glow Warm spot in Hokkitika, but I didn’t go there because I arrived too late.
The living room of the room is spacious and can be connected to the APP for screencasting. There is a wireless charger on the dining table. The bathroom is relatively large and the bed is surprisingly clean and comfortable. When I wake up in the morning and look at the sun outside, I can see the local residents outside the window. It feels like I am living in a small town. On, unique and beautiful memories. Everyone put the 🔑 on the office desk when they went out in the morning. Overall, the impression was very good. recommend! !
匿匿名遊客The room is spacious, clean and tidy. It is close to the main road but unaffected by any traffic noise. The bed is comfortable. The kitchenette provides enough facilities for you to prepare the meals using microwave. One issue is that the ventilation fan inside the washroom is noisy during operation but can be turned off before going to sleep.
GGuest UserExceptionally clean, lots of little perks you would expect in a high rated hotel. It is a small place and you can hear your neighbours if they are noisy but most places are like this. It is cosy and I couldn't recommend highly enough. Gail is lovely and looks after your every need. Beautiful outlook, different areas outside. It is not far from township and from what I hear of others that stayed in town we got the winner. Value for dollar is exceptional. One of the restaurants/bars in town has a courtesy van you can get picked up and returned if you using their establishment, so there is no issue with transport if you need it though we didn't utilise. Friendly dog and cat, great bird life, has a couple of friendly weka who came to say hello. Cicaders and birds to listen to as you maybe have a glass of wine and watch the beautiful sky. Just lovely, thanks Gail hope to see you again. From catherine
