Huanxiu Resort & SPA Hotel Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
A hidden gem in Suzhou
This is a beautiful hot spring located in the Mountains in Suzhou. The hotel is situated right next to the hot spring itself.
I celebrated my 30th Birthday here and it was nothing short of amazing. The hotel is 5-star and the service is world class.
The different temperature springs gives you the flexibility to chose your spa and there are many springs which means it’s quite private. You are given towels and slippers when you enter the spa. The hotel also provides a robe
Suzhou itself is a beautiful city to visit. It is truly the Venice of China. If you decide to visit this spa, it would be good to visit other attractions in the city.
Suzhou Wangshan Jiulongtan Scenic Area Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Wangshan Forest Park, Suzhou
A beautiful place with numerous scenic spot like hills, lake, tea garden etc. If you live or stay in Suzhou then you can cover this place within couple of hours and the distance from downtown is about an hour drive by car. Better to be there in the morning and return in the evening to see everything with satisfaction. Don't forget to try coffee while sitting outside the cafe and experience the tranquility of surroundings.

Checked in at Jiulongtan Scenic Area
Wangshan Jiulongtan Scenic Area is located in Wangshan Scenic Area, Hengjing Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. The opening hours are from 09:00 to 16:30, with the last admission at 16:00, and it is recommended to visit for more than 3 hours. Inside the scenic area, a mountain spring flows down from above, gathering into a pool of clear water, which is so deep that the bottom cannot be seen. On the dam, nine stone-carved dragon heads are arranged in a row, each with a unique shape. Whether it is the posture of the mouth or the direction of the whiskers, each is different. During thunderstorms, when the rain is plentiful and the water level rises, water will spout out through the nine dragon heads, forming nine water column waterfalls below the pool. The waterfall sometimes flows slowly and sometimes rapidly. From a distance, the water is as clear as silk, and upon closer inspection, it seems to have a rhythm. This is known as 'Nine Dragons Playing in the Water'.
