Zenkoji temple
Zenkoji is well-known among many people in Japan. This spot is in Nagano city, which is a popular place for skiing. A winter Olympic was held in Nagano. From Nagano station, you can walk or take a bus.
The gate is so large that Japanese people are amazed whenever we see it . #Zenkoji #Japan #Temple #善光寺 #長野 #日本
Zenko Cathedral is the oldest Buddhist building in Japan. It has a long history of 1400 years. It is also the temple that best reflects Japanese culture. Because of the architectural and cultural heritage of the Zenkoji Temple and the Hidden Shrine, Nagano is filled with a strong cultural atmosphere and natural resources.
Get off at the bus stop and go to the Zenkoji Temple. On both sides of the road are the courtyards and temples that are very old in Japan. They are all enshrined in different places. The lush green trees in front of the door add to the enthusiasm.
Going inside can go to Daren Wangmen, this Renwangmen was burned down in 1752, and now Renwangmen was newly built in 1918. Walking through the Renwang Gate will pass through a street full of shops selling many products about Buddhism, called Zhong Zhong Shi Tong.
After walking through a long street, I went to the gate of the Zenko Temple. On the right side of the gate are six Tibetan Bodhisattvas, and the Bodhisattva of the Divine Bodhisattva can appear in six lanes. After the death of the people, they can save all beings. Next to Japan's unique sink, you can wash your hands with a bamboo spoon, then rinse the water from the spoon handle and wash the spoon handle for the next use.

#2024wish Fairly vast temple grounds with all kinds of shrines and temples. Entrance is free! There is nothing particularly special about it but it provides a well rounded tourist experience. There is a small pagoda, a big temple, a colorful temple, a buddha statue, a special temple for scriptures, etc. There were many dressed up families doing fotoshoots with their children dressed in traditional clothing. My favourite part was the street leading up to the temple which makes it feel like you're walking through historic Japan. Good connection to the main station by bus and make sure to get off at the recommed stop, there will be an announcement. The bus here does not accept IC, so prepare to draw a ticket and have exact cash.
I wish to travel more in 2024
A must-visit temple in Nagano
Finding the key to Paradise in the pitch black is a experience - not only does it show you how a blind person feels but also it is worth it for the atmosphere. The Buddhist praying area is very calm and they keep the place very keen in the Main hall so walking in stocking feet as you carry your shoes around in a bag is not a issue. Beware the initial steps down into the corridor with the key is dimly lit and the first steps are steep and deep. The gardens are beautiful and there are plenty of places to have food - we took a bento box in with us and found a quit spot . Plenty of loos around and opportunities abound for buying souvenirs, fortune telling and food. It’s easy to find and if you take a bus it saves time but if not it’s an easy walk from the station.
I want to travel to Thailand in 2024.

Nagano, Japan
Nagano has always been a holiday destination in central Japan, whether it's for summer retreats or winter snow viewing. It is the region with the longest life expectancy in Japan and one of the happiest areas. Joe Hisaishi and Makoto Shinkai were both born here.
In the city of Nagano, the Zenko-ji Temple has a history of 1,400 years and possesses the oldest Buddha statue in Japan. The Shiga Kogen Plateau in the east has many ski resorts, and the scenery of the snow-capped mountains is also quite spectacular, evoking memories of the "Eternal Snow Mountain" map for players of the game "Dungeon Fighter Online". At the Jigokudani Monkey Park on the mountainside, there are natural outdoor hot springs and monkeys bathing here, which is a very rare and interesting sight to see.
Nagano's many temples, the most famous non-Shinko temple, is the largest wooden structure temple in eastern Japan; there is no religious temple, and all temples can be paradise. There are many introductions to the Zenko Temple in the travel book, but the locals have a description similar to not the Great Wall is not a hero If you want to go to Zanguang Temple again, even if you take the cow, you should go to the Zenko Temple to pay homage. "It is true that there are often Japanese people who come to JR with their luggage and come directly to pray."
