Wuhan, see you next time
The last day of the trip, the tour leader suggested checking in at the Wuhan Museum, after all, the Hubei Museum is out of reach. Lunch was arranged at Xia's Clay Pot, which we waited for an hour and a half. The lotus root and pork rib soup was really good, with the lotus root having long strings and the essence of the ribs all in the soup, recommended!
The braised pork was fatty but not greasy, with a hint of jujube aroma, and it went well with rice. The Wuchang fish that someone was looking forward to, complemented by the Hubei specialty Baiyunbian liquor, was also a hit. The beach lamb was not gamey, and the mildly spicy flavor was even good for someone like me who doesn't eat spicy food, and the price was also reasonable, worthy of its ranking.
The leader's father suggested resting in the afternoon and then sitting by the river. The leader spoke his mind: to take care of you two, I didn't have time to wander around, and I had to act alone. I was quick to express that I wouldn't cause trouble, just to accompany me, but was verbally rejected...
Tomorrow we will leave, and I feel somewhat reluctant. Parting is for the sake of future reunions. Wuhan, we will come back again!
