Taking pictures is very photogenic, the 'Milk Sea'
has been particularly popular recently, and it's crowded with people. Cars are parked along the roadside. Around four or five o'clock, there are especially many people. Everyone driving should pay attention to safety, and be understanding of the crowded conditions.
The beach is full of coral stones🪸, which have a particularly strong fishy smell.
There are also villagers selling coconuts🥥 and coffee☕️ by the beach (see images 6, 7, 8).
You can also set up tents and enjoy the sea breeze.

Tanmen, a small town in Qionghai that makes a living by fishing
Before we arrived at Boao, we passed through Qionghai and then entered this retro-style millennium fishing port - Tanmen. It is called a millennium fishing port because historical records show that as early as the Song Dynasty, people here made a living by fishing. By the Ming Dynasty, it had become a port that could go out to sea to fish.
Therefore, the ancient fishing port of Tanmen was born with the sea and prospered because of the sea. For thousands of years, the people of Tanmen have been using the sea as a field and fishing as a business, enjoying the generous gifts of the sea. As soon as we got off the car, we couldn't help but exclaim: This is a narrow water area with sunshine, beaches, and waves all available. Countless large and small fishing boats are moored in it, and many old captains are busy. On the shore, all the fishing boats are painted with blue or green paint, and the bright national flags are inserted on the boats, which are particularly bright. The entire seaport is very quiet, without noisy tourists. Walking by the sea, smelling the salty sea breeze, and occasionally seeing busy fishermen in the fishing boats, it has a unique charm. There are also boats that have just been filled with a boat of fish and returned. There are already buyers waiting for purchase on the shore. As an old pier with a thousand-year history, Tanmen Fishing Port is a logistics supply base for fishing boats operating in the West, South, Central, and East Sand Islands and a distribution and sales base for remote sea fish. At present, it can accommodate three hundred fishing boats at the same time.
