The beautiful and melodious 'Night of the Military Harbor' has made countless people want to come here for a visit. Walking into the harbor, the sea breeze gently brushes your face, watching the waves gently sway, there are also the majestic and unrestrained bronze lions, retired planes parked; you can even play with the seagulls under the blue sky at zero distance... It is because of this popular 'Night of the Military Harbor' that I feel as if it's so familiar. Afterwards, we ascend to the top of Baiyu Mountain, where we can not only see the Tiger Tail of Lüshun Port, but also have a panoramic view of the military harbor and the cityscape.

Lushun Military Port
Lushun Military Port (also known as Lushun Port), located in Lushunkou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, China, is a non-freezing port, located south of Baiyu Mountain. It was established during the Qing Dynasty, and there was a naval camp in Lushun as early as the Ming Dynasty. Lushun Military Port is a port built by the Beiyang Navy during the late Qing Dynasty and is one of the most important military ports in modern northern China. It is now used by the North Sea Fleet of the People's Liberation Army Navy and belongs to the Lushun Base of the Navy. The Lushun Military Port was established during the Qing government period from 1880 to 1890. At that time, in order to strengthen the maritime defense of Lushun Port, Li Hongzhang raised funds to build the Beiyang Navy, expanded the channel, dredged the port, built gun emplacements, and built port pools. After many years of construction, Lushun Military Port has become a world-famous military fortress, known as a 'world wonder'.
The first thing that comes into view when entering the park is a stone tablet that is 2.4 meters high, 0.8 meters thick, and 1.5 meters wide. The stone tablet is made from a natural boulder selected from Laotie Mountain, weighing about one ton. The front of the stone tablet is engraved with the three big characters 'Lushun Port', and the back is engraved with an inscription recording the origin of Lushun Port. The huge bronze sculpture 'Awakening Lion' on the west side of the park is named after Lushun Port, which was known as 'Lion's Mouth' in the Yuan Dynasty, symbolizing the increasingly powerful motherland, like a sleeping lion waking up, ready to go.
Lushun Military Port Park is located at the southern foot of Baiyu Mountain. You can take buses No. 2, 3, and 5 from Lushun City.
