【Qingdao Photography Tour, Dreamy Prague Square】
September in Qingdao, the weather is really pleasant!!! This trip finally fulfilled my longing for "Prague Square".
The panoramic terrace offers a bird's-eye view of Signal Hill Park and the distant mountains and sea. 📸 The best spot to shoot St. Michael's Church is right here❗️
Unfortunately! It was overcast when I went⛅
Without the backdrop of the setting sun🌇, it always felt a bit less romantic. But even so, the beauty was enough to make one linger and forget to return~
📍12th floor of the Manxin Hotel near Qingdao Zhanqiao Train Station
Non-guests need to pay 💰49, accompanied by staff to go up
The surprise of stepping onto the terrace is real, with beautiful views all around
Each side of the view has its own unique charm
Take out your phone, long shots, close-ups, special shots, you name it✌🏻️
There are also many attractions nearby, which can be visited together
👉🏻 About a 10-minute walk from Signal Hill Park
👉🏻 A few hundred meters walk to St. Michael's Cathedral
👉🏻 Not far from Zhanqiao Pier and Longjiang Road (a charming street)
It is recommended to go there before 5 pm on a clear afternoon to capture the afterglow of the sunset
After all, it's the unique atmosphere of Prague Square at dusk that really stands out!

How to spend a day in Qingdao 📸
If you only have one day, here's how you can check in at Qingdao.
👉First stop: Suspension Bridge (recommended 1 hour visit)
Every winter, seagulls fly back from Siberia.
You can prepare some crushed dough sticks to feed the seagulls in advance, and interacting with them is also very interesting, but be sure to keep warm! It's cold and windy by the seaside. (A small tip: be sure to turn on the motion picture mode when taking photos.)
👉Second stop: Saint Michael's Church (Ticket 💰10, recommended to spend 1 hour)
Catholic Church (St. Michael's Church)
From the pier, walk 800 meters and take photos along the way. There are many people taking photos outside the church, but few inside. In the morning, the sunlight shines through the stained glass, refracting colorful light. (The red door of the church is a good spot for photos.)
👉Third stop: Qingdao Bookstore (Ticket 💰19.9, drink can be redeemed, rest for 30 minutes or 1 hour for taking photos)
Also known as Anna Villa, it is located opposite the church at the fire station. If you feel cold or thirsty, you can go in and buy a drink. The ticket money can be deducted from the drink. There is a queue for taking photos at the Rose Waterfall, and the young ladies take very good photos. Walk and take photos in the Zhongshan Road old street area.
🏠Accommodation at Manxin Hotel near Qingdao Zhanqiao Railway Station.
I live here on Zhongshan Road, just checked in, and eat at the nearby shopping mall.
Hotel rooftop on the 12th floor is a popular spot for taking photos, please inform the staff.
Red House Church, etc., capture the feeling of Prague (suggested to take at 3 o'clock for a warmer atmosphere).
👉Fourth stop: Xinhao Mountain Park (Free admission, $10 for mountain top observation deck, 1 hour of playtime)
Need to climb the mountain, take a photo at the beautiful Red Top House, find the best angle by yourself, and you can also choose to watch the sunset here. I chose Little Qingdao by the seaside.
👉Fifth stop: University Road (1 hour tour on the famous internet road)
Except for the brick red popular wall, every small road near University Road is very
Suitable for leisurely strolls, the classic photo spot is next to the university road parking lot. Step into the world of Hayao Miyazaki's manga and take a photo at the Blue Qingdao sign.
👉Sixth stop: Qinyu Road or go to Lu Xun Park first, it's right next to it.
Qinyu Road Cafe is located on the seaside street, with stunning photo opportunities. The blue railing by the beach also makes for great shots, and the beautiful road is perfect for sunset photos.
👉Seventh stop: Xiaoaodao (recommended for 1 hour)
Qinyu Road goes all the way in, and you will reach the sunset check-in point of Xiaoyingdao. Although there is no beach, this can be said to be the most beautiful coastal "small road".
Especially in the evening, you can clearly see the sunset reflecting the orange-red color on the sea surface, which is called "Orange Sea" here. On the way, you can see boats at the middle position of the dam, and take parallel photos. It's a stunning spot to take photos, numbered 101.
🍛Of course we have to eat seafood for dinner, steamed seafood and rice with sea intestines to satisfy our cravings👍🏻.
👉Eighth stop: May Fourth Square
After dinner, go see the night view by the river, take photos of the lights at May Fourth Square, listen to the guy singing on the Lover's Bridge, and feel the sea breeze.
👉Ninth stop: Lover's Dam
Just follow the seaside to the lighthouse at the Olympic Sailing Center. I didn't go to the sailing center, I drove directly to Lover's Dam. Check in, take photos, and enjoy the slogan. It's windy by the sea, so wear warm clothes and a hat.
👉Tenth stop: Le Live House (Taitung branch)
Find a bar near the hotel to sit down, get a little tipsy, listen to the band sing, relax after a tired day. I chose this one, which is pretty good. The lead singer of the band sings great, and every performance is like a concert.
🆕Of course, you can also choose foot massage to help relax your whole body.
Transportation 🚗 I choose to drive for fun, but of course you can take a taxi, walk to nearby places, and driving is inconvenient for parking.
Qingdao is a place where you will want to come back for a second time. Gather a few friends and set off, whether it's winter or summer, there will always be time to spare, the difficult part is just starting.
