#Little Wild Goose Pagoda (Jianfu Temple) Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
In Xi'an, at the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, I encountered the stunning beauty of autumn
It would be a sin not to share such a beautiful scene . Xi'an is a city I often visit, but I rarely stay. After a meeting on Sunday, I had half a day to spare before leaving, so I decided to take a stroll. The time was just right for a half-day city walk. I asked the chubby concierge at the front desk, and he suggested that I visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda or Xingshensi Temple, which are just a short walk from the hotel. He said that the autumn scenery at the Small Wild Goose Pagoda just below the Crowne Plaza Hotel is particularly beautiful. Being a bit lazy, I hesitated and finally chose the Small Wild Goose Pagoda because it was closer. Indeed, the seasons are different and the colors are vibrant, I love it... Here I omit a thousand words, the chubby concierge did not deceive me, the autumn scenery is picturesque, don't waste a good day, haha, even a mobile phone can capture such beauty. Next time I come, I will listen to the sound of falling snow and the morning bell of the pagoda...

"The millennium Baochao is long and the ancient Buddha is shining in the morning." In the cluster of green plants, the small wild goose pagoda is framed by the tall buildings, and there is a sense of the ancient and modern collisions.
Unlike the big wild goose pagoda, the small wild goose pagoda has a quiet and cozy beauty hidden in the troubles, but it gives us a surprise, and can use the ID card to receive the ticket for free.
Small Wild Goose Pagoda is a typical work of the early Chinese square brick tower; the original 15 stories, the top is slightly damaged, there are 13 layers; this small version of the stupa is not famous for the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, but it is also royal Industry.
Small Wild Goose Pagoda is the most amazing is its powerful "self-repair ability", more than 1300 years, after more than 70 earthquake looting, still stand. The most famous three "Yanta Shenhe" is that the last earthquake shattered and the next earthquake was automatically closed. According to the geological conditions of Xi'an, the ancient craftsmen specially built the tower base into a semi-circular sphere with bauxite. After the earthquake, the pressure was evenly dispersed, and they had to admire the skill of the craftsman.
The small geese tower is located in the Jianfu Temple, and there is also a Yanta Morning Bell called Guanzhong Eight Views. In the morning mist, the life of the sunset with the bells and sunrises is also a different flavor. Pass through the courtyard, in front of the Xi'an Museum! The ancient capital of the thirteen dynasties digs a treasure. It is not far from Xiaozhai Road. It is a popular museum in Shaanxi Province. It has a huge flow of people. It is recommended that you book an appointment on the official website two or three weeks in advance.
Chang'an's Buddhist culture has a long history. Understanding the history and culture in a simple way is the most precious harvest that the city has brought us.

This Tang Dynasty pagoda is located in the Jianfu Temple, so it is also called the Jianfu Temple Tower. It was built in the Tang Jinglong period and is one of the world's cultural heritages. It is considered to be a tower of many fate: the war in the late Tang Dynasty, the temple of Jianfu After repeated destruction, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda was barely preserved; in the Ming Dynasty, it was destroyed by two layers; it was occupied by various institutions during the revolution. It is not easy to appreciate the "Yanta Morning Bell", one of the eight scenic spots in Guanzhong, and it is much easier to cherish and protect it.

Xi'an Winter Tour✅Little Wild Goose Pagoda📷World Heritage in Classical Gardens
💕Certain locales in Xi'an truly exude beauty throughout the four seasons. For instance, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, even amidst the desolation of winter, possesses an ethereal charm.

✨The Small Wild Goose Pagoda holds a special place in my heart, having visited countless times. Compared to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, it used to attract fewer tourists. However, in recent years, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda has been unable to maintain its hidden charm, with an increasing number of visitors. Yet, for some reason, wandering within its confines still instills a sense of tranquility. Perhaps it's the clusters of ancient trees, the ubiquitous stone tablets, or the timeless allure etched within the towering pagoda.
-
🍃The Small Wild Goose Pagoda is home to a dense collection of ancient locust trees, with over a dozen that are over a thousand years old. In the summer, their lush foliage provides a canopy of shade, creating an atmosphere of serene depth. In winter, amidst the barren landscape, the gnarled branches of the old trees present a unique beauty worthy of poetry and painting.

Xi'an is Worth Visiting | I prefer the Small Wild Goose Pagoda to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, especially in the rain
After leaving the Xi'an Museum, we took a taxi, and the driver told us, 'Don't mind the rain; visiting the Small Wild Goose Pagoda in this weather is really delightful.'
I quickly agreed, saying, 'Yes, yes, it's very beautiful and pleasant; we just spent a long time inside.'
We went to the Xi'an Museum on a weekday, and after visiting, we headed to Jianfu Temple. It was raining, we were holding umbrellas, and the pitter-patter of the rain, along with the intermittent sounds of wishing bells, created a serene atmosphere. There were hardly any people, the air was fresh and clean, and the temple was peaceful and quiet.
I felt calm and healed.
Compared to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, I prefer this place; compared to the Shaanxi History Museum, I prefer the Xi'an Museum.
When planning the trip, I actually excluded this place, but fate had it that we still came.
If you go to Xi'an, you must visit here, and if it's drizzling, it's even more essential.
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is bustling, while the Small Wild Goose Pagoda is a quiet retreat.

Hydrangea Sea
The hydrangea sea is stunningly beautiful, and a visit to the Xiaoyan Pagoda is a must this summer.|||🌸 Inside the Xiaoyan Pagoda, a vast sea of hydrangeas has taken over social media platforms, making it a must-visit spot for early summer. The hydrangea sea at Xiaoyan Pagoda definitely deserves its fame.🌱
🌷 This is the largest hydrangea sea you can find in Xi'an city area. Whether it's the size, density, color, or blooming state of the flowers, they are all quite outstanding among hydrangeas.~☘️
🌼 The petals of the hydrangeas look delicate and dripping with color, presenting a macaron palette of white, pale yellow, pink, and bluish-purple, which explodes with girlish charm. Against the backdrop of green leaves, the color saturation is truly absolute.~🍀
🏵 Besides admiring the flowers, the serious business is, of course, taking photos. How can you justify the trip without it? This hydrangea sea has nothing else but is so photogenic! Whether you frame it with the distant Xiaoyan Pagoda or check in wearing beautiful clothes, the success rate for photos is 100%!🌿
💐 The moment you open the camera on your phone, you'll go crazy taking photos and not want to stop. The hydrangea sea comes with its own filter, and the photos taken don't need any editing, they are beautiful straight from the camera.🌵
🌳 A friendly reminder: when taking photos, do not enter the sea of flowers, and certainly do not harm the beautiful blooms~ The blooming season for hydrangeas is from June to August, which is neither long nor short. However, to avoid the flowers wilting under the strong summer sun, it's best to come early. This vast gentleness is not to be missed~🌲

The Ginkgo of the Small Wild Goose Pagoda|Makes you fall in love with the beauty of autumn
The autumn of the Small Wild Goose Pagoda is quiet and solemn. One of the 'Eight Sceneries of Guanzhong', 'Morning Bell of the Wild Goose Pagoda', is located in the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. The ancient bell in the courtyard is struck in the early morning, and the clear sound cuts through the sky, revealing the initial appearance of the ancient autumn scenery hidden in the city.
The golden ginkgo adds a bit of lively beauty to the broken Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Walking leisurely in the courtyard to feel its charm, no one can resist this beautiful and pleasant autumn scenery.

Speaking of the historical and cultural heritage of Xi'an, the first thing that comes to mind is the Terracotta Warriors and Horses and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. In fact, there is an equally important historical building in the central city of Xi'an, that is, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Compared to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Little Wild Goose Pagoda has a lot of popularity, but the artistic value is not inferior. Small Wild Goose Pagoda is located near the South Gate of Xi'an Metro Line 2, surrounded by a bustling business district. Once inside the park gate, it seems to have crossed the time and space, throwing all the outside cockroaches behind. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda is a typical example of an early Chinese-style square-shaped brick tower. Compared to the large wild goose pagoda that has been repaired and rebuilt many times, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda is more able to show the characteristics of Chinese architectural art during the Tang Dynasty. The beautiful environment inside, in addition to rich historical and cultural relics, you can also enjoy beautiful flowers, no matter for the public or tourists, it is a good place not to be missed. The most important thing in Xi'an is the cultural relics. Even in the corner of Xiaoyanta Park, there are works of art from various historical periods.

Small Wild Goose Pagoda
Free Treasure Spots Small Wild Goose Pagoda is well worth a visit! The eight scenes of Guanzhong, which are often talked about, many of them misunderstand that the Yanta Morning Bell is a wild goose. In fact, the real Yanta Morning Bell refers to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the Jianfu Temple in the Jianfu Temple in the south of Xian City. The ancient clock in the clock tower.
Small Wild Goose Pagoda has been called "Jianfu Temple Tower" during the Tang and Song Dynasties. The Jianfu Temple Tower was built in the Tang Dynasty Emperor Zhonglong Year of the Dragon. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda was two nights later than the Jianfu Temple. Although it was enlightened during the Tang Dynasty, there were many people in the palace, most of them were slaves in the palace.
People in the palace are not so good at the palace and the palace is not so good, the fate is very miserable, so the religious belief has become the important spiritual sustenance of the palace people, hoping to change the fate - even the hope of the "afterlife", pinned on Buddhism. Therefore, the palace people raised their own funds to build a smaller stupa in the Jianfu Temple. Because the shape is similar to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, it was named Xiaoyan Tower.
In the long history, the Little Wild Goose Pagoda has experienced countless stories, and the most famous one is Three Separations and Three Harmonies. In the 23rd year of Ming Chenghua, a magnitude 6 earthquake occurred in Shaanxi. The small goose pagoda was shattered from top to bottom by a seam of one foot wide. However, in another major earthquake after 34 years, the seam was actually closed overnight. The small geese smashed and fell three times. Some people felt that it was the divine power of the gods. The crack is closed and called the god.
During the Spring Festival, the small wild goose pagoda is very lively. You can see the shadow play and the children playing the stilts. In the meantime, there is a city museum to visit, and there is a net red card to find the most beautiful Yang Guifei. You can spend an afternoon here.

Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a thousand-year-old temple standing in a busy city, has no incense and no incense, but has a more peaceful
an ancient city. Xi'an is a famous historical capital at home and abroad. Its Chang'an City in the Tang Dynasty was the most prosperous in the world. The city has therefore left many monuments of the Tang Dynasty. Every time you travel to Xi'an, as the symbol of the ancient city of Xi'an, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is one of the must-see attractions. However, as everyone knows, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda also has a "brother", which is the small wild goose pagoda located in the downtown area of Xi'an. It is relatively low-key and there are not many tourists. At the entrance to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, you can also enjoy the Shaanxi features such as shadow play and puppet show. Walking all the way, it is the Xi'an City Museum. The surrounding lakes are rippling, the green fields are shaded, and the environment is quiet. It combines historical attractions with city parks to become a beautiful landscape. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda is free of charge. You can enter it for free with your ID card exchange. If you like to go to a quiet place, then the Small Wild Goose Pagoda is your best choice. With the beginning of the upgrading of Xi'an Xiaoyan Tower, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda will be more worthwhile in the near future.

A cup of tea, pulling my thoughts from the countryside back to the city. So I decided to do nothing else today, take a walk in the city, take a look, eat and eat, is the greatest pleasure. Not far away, there was a burst of bells, which was the call from the Wild Goose.
Little Wild Goose Pagoda is in need of tickets, just use the ID card at the door to redeem the admission ticket. This is very good. Into the small wild goose tower range, can not help but sigh the ingenuity of Xi'an city construction, can actually hide this quiet and beautiful place in the mixed downtown, can not find her beauty without approaching.
As a Buddhist garden, the atmosphere of Zen Wu is everywhere, and its transcendental, leisurely, concealed and ethereal interest is the most natural expression of another kind of temperament in the spirit of seclusion.
The size of Xiaoyanta Scenic Area is very large, and the environment in the scenic area is pleasant. There are ten old trees in the courtyard that are more than 800 years old. The temples are filled with green and vivid, and the looming temples are also decorated with mysterious mystery.
The head is a hundred-year-old tree, and the head is a shiny bluestone brick that has been polished by time. Autumn rain not only does not diminish the glory here, but it is a heart-to-heart cherish. The rain of the patter, the quiet atmosphere, people want to sit here, let go of the brain, and stay for a whole day.
Bei_Xiaoxian.
Before coming to Xi'an, I had already heard the name of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and thought that the two were in the same place.
Small Wild Goose Pagoda is also known as the "Jianfu Temple Tower". It is more than 40 meters high and was built in the Tang Dynasty. It has a history of more than 1,000 years. This square-shaped brick tower was originally part of the Jianfu Temple, which was used to store Buddhist scriptures brought back from India by Gao Yiyi, who had also been to Tianzhu. Years of time, vicissitudes and vicissitudes of life, this ancient tower that was once called "Yanta Morning Bell", one of the "Guanzhong Eight Scenes" in the bell tower of the Jianfu Temple, has also experienced ups and downs.
The war in the late Tang Dynasty, the Jianfu Temple was destroyed by the fire, leaving only this pagoda. Then, during the earthquake in Shaanxi during the Ming Dynasty, the tower of Xiaoyan Tower also cracked a gap. During the restoration, a layer of brick was built at the bottom of the tower, but the crack was not repaired. After that, the tower experienced several earthquakes. The crack of the artifact "three open three-in-one" was passed down as a miracle.
It is said that the crack of the small wild goose pagoda also predicts the effect of the grain harvest in the same year. If the crack in the tower body becomes larger, the harvest will be bad. If the crack in the tower body becomes smaller, it will definitely be harvested this year. Legend has it that local old farmers have used this as a benchmark and have tried and tested.
But now you can't see this magical crack. After the founding of the country, the small wild goose pagoda has been completely repaired. Only in the Guanzhong earthquake with strong destructive power in the Jiajing years of the Ming Dynasty, the top two floors of the 15-story ancient tower were destroyed and now existed in 13 stories.
