🌟Hello, buddies! Today I'm going to share with you a super awesome travel guide! Lianyungang, this beautiful city, with its stunning sea views and unique culture, let's explore it together!
Host recommendation: Lianyungang Old Street - Accommodation near Haiyifang Park, affordable and not far from various attractions, super convenient!
✨Sea Cloud Mountain✨
Known as the 'Rio de Janeiro' of Jiangsu, standing here you can overlook the old city of Lianyungang, the boundless sea, mountain views and the opposite Lian Island, super beautiful! And the sea water is super blue on sunny days, perfect for photos!
✨Lianyungang Old Street✨
There are many European-style buildings and snacks here, very suitable for taking photos. Feel the local customs here, taste the food, it's definitely worth the trip!
✨Lian Island✨

Lianyungang beach day
This is the best island in Jiangsu province for a peace and quiet get away…the weather wasn’t the best maybe go in summer next time #beachlife #beaches
Help, there are so many people on Lian Island, why didn't you say it earlier!
Lianyungang, a seaside city that captures the heart, not only has beautiful beaches but also spectacular mountain scenery. If you're short on time but don't want to miss the essence of this city, then take a look at my guide!
🌟 Yuntai Mountain: As the iconic attraction of Lianyungang, the beauty of Yuntai Mountain is unforgettable. We chose to go in the afternoon to avoid the crowds. Although the entrance was a bit congested, we passed through smoothly. Remember to buy tickets and bus tickets a day in advance to save money! Take the scenic area's bus and then transfer to a minibus. Although the ride is a bit long, the scenery along the way is definitely worth it. By exploring on foot, you'll discover many hidden photo spots. Remember to bring motion sickness medicine because the mountain roads are really winding and can make you dizzy!
🏝 Lian Island: On the second day, we chose Lian Island, which is not far from where we stayed. The seaside promenade and the peacock garden here are great places for photos. You can easily reach various attractions by taking a small train or a bus. In the evening, we also stumbled upon a free crystal art exhibition, which was a pleasant surprise!
📸 The beauty of Lianyungang lies not only in its natural scenery but also in those small details. Whether it's the thoughtful service of the staff or the stunning scenery of mountains and sea along the way, it leaves a deep impression. Despite the tight schedule, this day's itinerary allowed us to fully experience the charm of Lianyungang. This city is definitely worth exploring!
💕 If you are also a traveler with limited time, consider following my guide for an efficient and regret-free trip. Lianyungang, looking forward to our next encounter!
I took a trip to Lianyungang, and my friends thought I had gone abroad
Filled with the unknown and mystical, the Lian Islands can only be looked up to
While the sea and the beach can be seen at any time
I had no idea before that Lianyungang had such an island
It's indeed very low-key
And very few people know about it
The 'Lian' in Lianyungang comes from the Lian Islands
This niche 4A tourist spot
Is the largest island in Jiangsu Province
Every time I look at the sea
I always feel that the sea can heal people
Making one forget all troubles
In the midst of the gentle ripples
The scenery captured on a whim
With birds chasing and the dawn reflecting
All become records of life

Towards the Blue Sea | Lianyungang
The sea and the universe are always full of the unknown and mystery. We can only look up at the universe, but the sea and the beach are within your reach. I love being on the road, enjoying all kinds of unexpected surprises and encounters.
The May Day holiday is coming soon, and for those who want to escape into the mountains and seas, there's a fairy-tale place in China! It's Lianyungang City in Jiangsu Province, with affordable seafood, towering forests, and a magical little island! Lian Island
Many friends might overlook this place, as I was also unaware of it at first. You don't need to take a boat to get to the island; it's an independent island with very convenient transportation, about 40 kilometers from the city center. The fastest way is to take a taxi to the tourist center, and then you can queue up to buy tickets to the island, including a round-trip on the small train! 40 yuan for the entrance ticket + 20 yuan for the round-trip sightseeing train ticket. There are two stops in between! There are two beaches where you can go to take photos and check in! It's really photogenic! And the water quality of Lian Island is also really good! On the beach, there are many shells to dig and play with in the sand, and you can also pay to experience riding on jet skis and sailboats. There are also many folk customs on the island, though the prices might be a bit higher. However, it's a great choice to stay by the sea and enjoy the beautiful scenery!
The seafood in Lianyungang is also very affordable, and transportation is convenient. Although there is no subway, there is a direct bus from the airport to the city center! There's a bus every half hour!
Lian Island
I thought the sea in Jeju Island was beautiful until I came to Lianyungang
I thought the sea in Jeju Island was beautiful⁉️ Until I came to Lianyungang...
Just came back from Lianyungang, I didn't expect to find such beautiful mountains and sea here
When the weather is good, the sea and sky are as blue as in Jeju Island
And the Yuntai Mountain by the sea is also incredibly beautiful, standing on the mountain, you have an unobstructed view
I didn't expect such a niche city to be such a treasure
Posted on my social circle, everyone really thought I went abroad😂😂

Jiangsu, there is such a blue sea
I posted it to my friends and they all thought I went abroad
Lianyungang, this little-known city with beautiful scenery
It's simply the ideal destination for a reverse travel during the May Day holiday‼️
-
✅ Lian Island
The clear and blue water, golden and soft fine sand, it feels like you're not in China!
Walking along the seaside plank road, there is beautiful scenery all the way, and there's even a sea suspension bridge, which is super photogenic!
🌟 Recommended spots: Dashawan, Peacock Garden, Suma Bay
-
✅ West Lian Island
In the northwest corner of Lian Island, there's a small fishing village built on the hillside, which from an aerial view looks just like Italy's Cinque Terre! No, it's even more beautiful!
🌟 This is also a perfect spot to watch the sunset
-

At four or five in the morning. At the easternmost end of Lian Island, watch the endless sea and have a romantic sunrise encounter with strangers!
-
✅ Yuntai Mountain above the Sea
Jiangsu's version of "Rio de Janeiro", you can pray at the Fǎqǐ Temple halfway up the mountain, or take a sightseeing car directly to the top
Now the spring is just right, the mountain flowers are blooming, walking along the mountain road and plank road, you can also overlook the old city of Lianyungang and the stunning sea view
The Fengshu Bay Jungle Park at the foot of the mountain is suitable for children to play, and there's also the Banshan Bookroom where you can drink coffee, read books, daydream, or rest

Day2️⃣ Yangwo Head Sunrise - Lian Island Scenic Area
-
🏠 Accommodation suggestions
① Yuntai Mountain above the Sea - Bajianfang in Sucheng
② Lian Island - Skyline Hotel
③ At Sea - Haizhou Bay voco Hotel
-
🚄 The scenic area is quite far from the high-speed rail station, you can choose to rent a car for a self-drive or take a taxi (50 minutes), or take a bus (90 minutes) to get there
The sea breeze will blow away all worries
Let's all go to Xilian Island! There are really few people there!
Xilian Island route: If you are going there after playing around the Lian Islands, you can directly walk out of the Dashawan scenic area towards Yuehai Tower, which is about a ten-minute walk, I think it's a little over one kilometer. Then navigate to Xilian Island Fuhaiju Boutique Hotel from Yuehai Tower, the map shows this homestay right next to Laozhangtou, which is also a little over one kilometer. When you get there, you will see a path that leads directly to the seaside, on the left side of the road there is a dilapidated house, going down on the left you can see the scene from picture 10 in my photos, where you can catch crabs and there's a large shell beach below the house. Going down on the right side of the path, you can see the scene from picture 4, which has a small beach suitable for children to play (this area is an undeveloped scenic spot with many ruins and stones, it's not easy to walk, and there are no rescue personnel, so be sure to pay attention to safety when playing.
The photos above were taken at five o'clock in the afternoon, and the sunset photos were taken at six-thirty.
Citywalk~Lianyungang~Liandao~(5A)
Tips:
1. Transportation:
1) Public transportation: Take bus line You3/You6 directly to Liandao (Lianyungang East Station to Liandao);
2) Self-driving: Rent a car from the high-speed rail station to Liandao. You can park on the road behind the temple in the west of Liandao (free of charge). The scenic area has a large parking lot, but private cars are not allowed inside the scenic area; South Ring Island Road to Deng Xiaoping Park section allows private cars from 17:30 to 08:00 (suitable for watching the sunset/sunrise at Yangwo Head);
3) Rent an electric scooter/shared electric bike: South Ring Island Road to Haidao East Road to Yangwo Head to Deng Xiaoping Park, cannot enter the scenic area; electric scooters owned by island residents cost 15 yuan/h, if you stay at their place, it's 30-50 yuan for a whole day; shared electric bikes are scarce and require luck, normal price;
4) Scenic shuttle bus: Ticket price is 20 yuan (from Dashawan to Sumawan);
2. Tickets:
1) Off-season (10.28 to 4.27, 8:30 to 17:00): Adult ticket 30 yuan, children/elderly/disabled 15 yuan;
2) Peak season (4.28 to 10.27, 8:30 to 17:20): Adult ticket 50 yuan, children/elderly/students 25 yuan;
3. Main attractions in the scenic area: Two beaches (Dashawan, Sumawan), Dashawan is at the entrance of the scenic area, a seaside plank road (2.5km) connects to Sumawan (about 1h walk), this section has the best scenery;
4. Accommodation: There are many hotels at the entrance of the scenic area, with varying prices; there are many homestays on the west of Liandao, with great sea views and vistas; stayed at a homestay in mid-March (300 yuan), with floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides facing the sea, fulfilling the wish to watch the sunrise from bed;
5. Dining: There are many restaurants on the west of Liandao, but they are quite expensive! A meal for four cost 700 yuan (oysters, scallops, abalones, blackhead fish); there are more dining options in Xugou on the other end of the West Dam;
6. Highly recommended spots to visit: Yangwo Head, Dashawan, Sumawan, Guanri Pavilion.
7. Sunrise and sunset: All depend on luck! Places suitable for watching the sunrise: the east side of the west of Liandao, Yangwo Head; places suitable for watching the sunset: the lighthouse at the dam head, Yangwo Head!
I thought Qingdao was already beautiful, until I went to Lianyungang
I just came back from Lianyungang, and I didn't expect there to be such an underrated and low-key seaside city in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area! 🌊
The sea is really blue when the weather is good~ You can watch the sea and sky blend together from the mountains, witness the lighthouse sunrise and the fishing boat sunset at the seaside🌅, and there are super niche islands! 🏝️
This summer, watching the sea doesn't have to mean jostling with crowds anymore~
·

There are lots of European-style buildings, with a retro vibe🈵 It's great for taking photos~ Besides, there is also a snack street where you can 🉑eat while you stroll
🌴 'Lian Island'
This island is really niche for me! If it wasn't for this trip to Lianyungang, I wouldn't even know about such a treasure island in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area! The main attractions🈶 include Dashawan and Sumawan, where there are beaches for water activities~
The sea cable bridge, coastal road, sunrise lighthouse... really not inferior to other seaside cities!
📸 For those who like to take photos and explore, it's recommended to walk along the seaside plank road from Dashawan to Sumawan, the whole journey is 2.5km, with great scenery~🔆
·
I just came back from Lianyungang, and you can ask me anything you don't understand!
I hope this summer, everyone can find the sea they like
The underrated island of Lianyungang in Jiangsu is beautiful with few people!

•
🌊 Sightseeing bus and core play route
🔁 Tourist Service Center——Dashawan——Peacock Garden——Suma Bay——Tourist Service Center
📍 It is recommended not to take the bus from Dashawan to Peacock Garden, walk forward along the seaside plank road from the pedestrian passage below, it's incredibly beautiful and great for taking photos! It only takes about 20 minutes to walk without counting photo time
•
🔭 Several treasure photo spots
1️⃣ Walk for 5 minutes along the road and you will pass a graffiti area on the ground, the corner of this road is really Korean-style! The view is also great, many people just pass by here in a hurry, but it's really worth taking pictures, don't miss it
2️⃣ Suspension bridge, stand in the middle or slightly to the right of the pavilion, it looks good to take pictures of people on the bridge
3️⃣ Red corridor, walking along the corridor, the angles of the high and low parts are very photogenic, the further forward you go, the bluer the water is, a surprise
·
⏱️ Best time:
After 2 pm the light is the best, the fog also clears a lot, the sea is very blue, the water near the rocks is more turquoise
🌞 Weather: The weather by the sea in April-May is mostly sunny or cloudy turning clear, the temperature is also just right, remember to bring a coat due to the large temperature difference in the morning and evening, you can wear dresses and light clothes during the day. Remember to apply sunscreen!!! The UV rays are strong
🚶 Crowd: The crowd during the holidays is also acceptable, it is very suitable for weekends or shorter statutory holidays to relax and rest

Caught by the sea of Lianyungang!
Caught by the sea of Lianyungang!
Folks! The sea of Lian Island is really amazing!
Great weather + unbeatable sea view + favorite girlfriends = healed Tamasi
Location: Enter from the entrance of Lianyungang-Lian Island-Dashawan Scenic Area. Tickets 50 (I felt like a big grudge before going in, it costs money to see the sea, but it feels really good after seeing it, it's worth the trip)
Transportation: There are round-trip buses to Dashawan at the Lian Island Tourist Center, and it's quite easy to take a taxi to the hotel and back to the city
Accommodation: Stay in the newly renovated Lian Island and Sheng Hotel, the room is quite good with a smart toilet and a screen-casting TV, there is nothing to pick on. It's a 15-minute walk to the scenic area, and you can walk as far as you can after entering
Inside the scenic area: There is only a small piece of beach, and it was crowded with people on Saturday. There are jet skis on the sea, and there are many children and adults. Walking inside is a wooden walkway by the sea. We set off at four in the afternoon, and many people began to return, and there were not many people. But around six-thirty, they began to rush people to prepare to close the door, so everyone should pay attention to the time.
Food: There are fewer takeaways on the island, and the delivery fee for takeaways is higher.
Lianyungang: I tried the big mouth hot and sour noodles and the left atrium when I made the strategy. The hot and sour noodles are really good, with a lot of small ingredients, slightly sweet. The left atrium is a very real fruit tea.
Lianyungang - Lian Island Chapter
Lianyungang - Lian Island Chapter
I stayed on Lian Island for two nights, both at Hesheng Hotel
The environment is very good, the front desk service is good, as for the restaurant waiters, just average
I got up at 7:30 in the morning, had a buffet breakfast at the hotel, and walked to Dashawan. I bought a 20 yuan transportation ticket to go in, and went directly to Sumawan without queuing
If you just bring children to surf and dig sand, don't go to Sumawan, it's meaningless, it's the same everywhere, there are many people in Sumawan, especially those who come very late, it takes a long time to queue for transportation, don't go there specially, the sun-shading palm trees are all occupied by bags, shoes, etc., and there is no place to shade when you go
We ate at a certain seafood stall on Lian Island, let the elderly go first, and the result, the result, the result, those who should understand all understand, two mud crabs (one with meat, one without meat), a fish that I don’t know what is not fresh, a plate of squid, two vegetables are almost 700, don't avoid thunder, everyone group purchase is good
The food at Hesheng Hotel is also expensive. A plate of Yangzhou fried rice is 58, of course, the quantity is very large, and the prices of other dishes are self-explanatory
I think Lian Island is really not as many thunders as mentioned on the Internet, it looks pretty good
We also went to the Underwater World, hahaha
The scenery is average

I got up at 7:30 in the morning, had a buffet breakfast at the hotel, walked to Dasha Bay, went in and bought a 20 yuan transportation ticket, and went directly to Sumawan without queuing
If you just want to take your children to surf and dig sand, don't go to Sumawan, it's meaningless, it's the same everywhere, there are a lot of people in Sumawan, especially those who come very late, it takes a long time to queue for transportation, don't go there specially, the sun-shading palm trees are all occupied by bags, shoes, etc., and there is no place to shade when you go
We ate at a certain seafood stall on Lian Island, let the elderly go first, the result, the result, the result, those who should understand all understand, two mud crabs (one with meat, one without meat), a fish that I don't know what is not fresh, a plate of squid, two vegetables are almost 700, not avoiding thunder, everyone group purchase is good
The food at Hesheng Hotel is also expensive, a portion of Yangzhou fried rice is 58, of course, the quantity is very large, the price of other dishes is self-supplement
I think Lian Island is really not as much thunder as said on the Internet, it looks pretty good
We also went to the underwater world, hahaha
The scenery is average

"I boldly predict that Lianyungang will be the next top seaside city"
Jiangsu's charm is even more beautiful with you.
🗺 On a sunny day in Lianyungang, it's as romantic as a comic. Self-driving on the Lian Island Ring Sea Road, overlooking the sea from the Yuntai Mountain on the sea, looking at the historical culture in the old street of Lianyungang, and also found the "Five Fishing Villages in the East" Xilian Island fishing village. The most beautiful seaside city in Jiangsu, without a doubt.✨️
🌴 Lian Island:
You can reach Dashawan, Sumawan, etc. by scenic bus. Remember to get off at the 'Peacock Platform' and walk back, you can see the sea bridge and plank road, which are very photogenic~ You can drive in before 8 in the morning and after 6 in the evening, and camp at 'Sheep's Nest' to wait for the sunrise, which is super beautiful~

You can take a sightseeing bus directly to the viewing platform on the mountain, without any effort. You can overlook the entire beauty of Lianyungang, where the sea and sky blend together, which is breathtaking.

The red roof paired with the sea, it really looks like Five Fishing Villages from the air. You can buy seafood just caught by the fishermen at a reasonable price. There are also fisherwomen mending nets, very original~

Welcome everyone to check in / Lianyungang
The long-awaited winter sea-watching plan has finally been realized. There are few people on the island and the off-season is free of charge. The clear sky doubles the experience. For accommodation, it is recommended to stay near Xugou for convenient transportation, not too far from other attractions. It is not recommended to stay on the island, there is less food and it is expensive. This time I discovered a treasure city for tourism

The islands in autumn and winter are always unforgettable, and the islands are always worth looking forward to
Each seaside town is a romantic dream. As a coastal city, Lianyungang is a city full of romantic atmosphere. It connects with Nantongzhou in the south, Nantongzhou in the north, Nantongzhou in the south and north; it connects with the islands in the east and west, and the islands in the east and west. The east and west islands here are the Lian Island scenic area with various mysterious legends. Walk towards that scenery to feel the vastness of the sea and the wonderful feelings of the mountains and the sea.
The Lian Island scenic area is large and the attractions are relatively widely distributed. In addition to ocean sightseeing, leisure, vacation, food, etc., there are also various activities such as island land for tourists to choose from. In order to better tour the entire scenic area, it is recommended to buy a sightseeing car ticket, the scenic bus line is 13 kilometers, 20 yuan/person, you can change at will. In addition, the aquatic animal resources of Lian Island are abundant, of which marine aquatic products account for 72.8% of the total aquatic products in the city, and the main economic fish species are belt fish and yellow croaker.
I was amazed by Lianyungang, a very niche travel destination
✅Must experience:
First stop, Yuntai Mountain on the sea
Second stop, Lian Island Scenic Area
🧳Preparation before departure:
I read the guide in advance and went to find the location in advance
But I still found the wrong place
Just because I went early in the process of finding the sunset
I found a clear coastal rocky beach
Finally, I took this sunset at a high place at the entrance of a construction site.
The sunrise the next day was seen downstairs at the homestay where I was staying
Opposite is the Dasha Bay Beach
Not long after watching the sunrise, the dust came
I can't see anything in the gray distance.
Lian Island
Everything on this trip was just right
Whether it's the sunset at the wrong location
Or the dust that was avoided a step late after the sunrise
This time the sunrise and sunset by the sea were achieved
It’s giving summer vibes in Lian island 🏝️😊
The island is very beautiful with a lot of places to explore and do activities. It’s a well designed tourist spot
Entry fee with access to all scenic spots is 75¥ excluding the yacht experience and aquarium.
Very convenient area near the beach with restaurants and shops.
Would definitely love to go back☺️
